November 20, 200618 yr If you think I'm buying Kerrang to go through this exercise you're mistaken! I'd like to think I own none of them, but probably ten or so. Anyone want to print the list or give a link?
November 20, 200618 yr If you think I'm buying Kerrang to go through this exercise you're mistaken! I'd like to think I own none of them, but probably ten or so. Anyone want to print the list or give a link? I feel the same way about Kerrang!! But I'm pretty sure this playlist wont be ALL c**p, it'll probably have stuff like Nirvana, Sabbath, Zep, Maiden, NIN, etc....
November 20, 200618 yr Author I don't understand this thread at all. There's no list? the idea is that you will have got the mag (with the cd or found the list on their site)

November 22, 200618 yr Ok, this guy put it on his blog... http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...logID=193568236 Songs I own on MP3 - 4 Songs I own on CD / Vinyl - 7 What I think of Kerrang! - w****rs Kudos for remembering Screamager by Therapy? and that's about it. Half the stuff in punk is not punk, all of their 'lost' classics were lost for a good reason and there's too much c**p in there aimed at the current readership. ...and they say the NME is bad? Kerrang! is quite clearly only of use to 14 year olds to wipe off their dicks with.
November 22, 200618 yr "Classic Rock" - hmmm, they make room for 'Hair Metal' rubbish like Buckcherry, Warrant, Poison and Skid Row; and totally fail to mention Deep Purple, Thin Lizzy or Lynyrd Skynyrd..... "Punk" - apart from the obvious ones, and one or two like Black Flag and Anti-Flag, pretty excruciating and totally failing to show any knowlege of Punk whatsoever - No Siouxsie, no Slits, no Buzzcocks, no Crass, No Dead Kennedys..... "Alternative Rock" - Got a fair few here - Pumpkins, A Perfect Circle, Pixies, Nirvana, Faith No More.... Predictably, they picked the WORST Evanescence song..... <_< Mind you, not that they actually picked the best songs to represent about half of the bands they featured anyway.... Metal - I've got about five or six there, but surely "Paranoid" should be more of a fit in "Classic Rock"..... Extreme Metal - Maybe four... All in all, pretty clueless....
