I love Nu-Di-Ty

 

Heart Beat Rock is the song I really can't stand. 2 Hearts and Cosmic are quite dire too but less annoying. But the other songs are all either good to amazing. There is something for everybody on this album. Super versatile.

Its a versatile album but i think thats its downfall, i dont think they fully knew the direction or them of the album. As a song i like 2 Hearts but i dont like it for a lead single. No More rian is another great song on the album but Nu-Di-Ty is nothing more than noise for me.

In my arms was screaming to be the lead single from X, instead she went for 2 Hearts in Europe and All i see in the US which were some of the worst on the album...

I remain miffed at the handling of the One and also Like a Drug not getting to single status at all.

her management did horrible choices with this album...

Its def the album that her management messed up the most as it had huge potential for killer singles.

I love 'Sensitized', but it is absolutely not a single.

Def not, it would have been a disastrous choice for a single.

Some strong songs on x including like a drug, the one and stars. However, I don’t like speakerphone, nudity or heart beat rock. White diamond should have made the cut!

Def agree about white diamond but so many good songs were left off in favour of weaker tracks.

Certainly huge mistakes were made with the track selection for X.

In terms of biggest potential for being hits, or even number 1s, I think In My Arms, Speakerphone and Like A Drug would've been huge. They were very on trend

I'm talking lead single. It's clear to me that it would've done far better than 2 Hearts, same for Speakerphone or Like A Drug. Not a huge fan of IMA, but it was perfect for the time to lead the album

As a lead single In My Arms would have been much more suitable than 2 Hearts.

2 Hearts was wrongly selected for that roll.

The One would have made the perfect lead single or Like a Drug.

I think 'In My Arms' could have made a GREAT lead single, although I'm not sure if the fact it leaked a few months earlier might have reduced her comeback hype somewhat.

 

Obviously it would have been a way better choice than '2 Hearts'.

2 Hearts, they probably thought it will stand out as its very different for Kylie.

It wasnt stand out enough to do what was needed for a lead single.

If better decisions were made, Kylie could have had a Number 1 hit from the X era and a bigger selling album.

 

 

It bugs me how x suffered due to so many stupid decisions, if they handled the singles better and put the one for example as the lead I think x would have at worst went top 3 and would have easily went double platinum. It had the potential to be even be 3xplatinum.
