March 20, 20205 yr I feel bad for Sheldon, he nominated 3 people.. Couldn't put up his logical option once the veto was used, and everyone he went after stayed. I'm all for being fair, but, that's the game! Edited March 20, 20205 yr by Aaron.
March 20, 20205 yr Wtf. Just finished the latest episode. What did Kyle actually do? Don't get me wrong I'm glad he's been booted out but the show provided zero explanation...
March 22, 20205 yr I know there are bigger problems in the world right now but I'm devastated BB22 is unlikely to happen.
March 23, 20205 yr I know there are bigger problems in the world right now but I'm devastated BB22 is unlikely to happen. As much of a shame as it is, they should probably just cancel this season of BBCAN as well. They could have continued, but given EVERYTHING that has happened, I don't see this season being successful at all, they should just call it a day and send these people home to their families.
March 24, 20205 yr The right decision but sad regardless. I feel bad for all involved - crew, Arisa, house guests. I can't imagine how they'll tie up the remaining episodes. Will they show everyone leaving? It seems pointless showing remaining game play now that we know it's all for nothing. Let's hope this season doesn't affect the show's future. This can just be seen as the equivalent of Big Brother US 9.
March 24, 20205 yr I feel bad for Arisa, and maybe a handful of others... But yeah. The right decision. I'd maybe like to see Brooke and maybe Sheldon back... But can leave the rest of them.
March 25, 20205 yr NEXT WEDNESDAY. They should have just ended this tomorrow or Sunday during their regular slots. Just let this season go already.
April 2, 20205 yr Cute episode. Dragged on a bit, could have been 30 minutes last week.. But.. Whatever.. I think the right thing to do next season is to invite everyone that was still left back and fill the gap with newbies or returnees. Done.
April 2, 20205 yr The problem inviting them all back would pose is the possibility of pre-season tactics and alliances which the viewers wouldn't necessarily be privy to. Also, by the time next season comes around (assuming life has gone back to normal by next spring) wouldn't viewers want a fresh cast rather than personalities they've already met? Maybe instead viewers can vote for which 4 of the BBCAN8 cast they'd want to return to the house.
July 13, 20205 yr From BBSPY: Global has officially renewed Big Brother Canada for its ninth season, which will air in Spring 2021 Arisa Cox is returning as host and, for the first time, will also be an executive producer on the show. HUGE news for Arisa, she has had so much growth since Season 1. So proud of her!
July 13, 20205 yr Author Fabulous news, and I'm so happy for Arisa! It's clear how devoted she is to the show, an amazing ambassador as well as host.
July 16, 20205 yr which should really be its eighth season bc this year’s 4-ish weeks don’t really count as a season
February 17, 20214 yr 2 weeks to go! Premiere Episode airs Wednesday March 3rd. The BBCAN Twitter account has started tweeting again, nothing of any value, but I'm assuming we will get more formal details and the cast in the next week. :cheer:
February 17, 20214 yr @1362031547600277505 Rumours on Twitter that it's either an Allstars or Canada VS US with returning players. Julie Chen filmed something related to BBCAN. A number of alumni have gone missing on Twitter on both sides of the boarder. I find it odd that CAN vs US is even an option given the Pandemic. Edited February 17, 20214 yr by Aaron.
February 24, 20214 yr Cast announced! It includes the first transgender housemate and, surprisingly, no BBCAN8 housemates.... yet! There’s only 14 housemates announced so there’s probably another two left. I had suspected it’d be half BBCAN8 and half new cast but I’m probably glad it’s a new cast to make things more fresh. @1364636732801642500
February 24, 20214 yr I wouldn't be surprized if the last two ended up being from BBCAN8. Let's be honest, not everyone deserved a call back for this season. 2 is probably an appropriate number to take from last year. I've only looked at the Twitter descriptions but OMG. Great diversity. They've done it again. Josh Farnsworth YASS #FreeBritney Julie Vu is well known in my community. So happy to see her on Big Brother! Breydon White from my home town. I hope he does well!
