Unsure how true this is but it’s appearing like it’s just an announcement to come but given what’s happening right now in Eastern Europe it’s hard to say when that announcement may be -_-

Can't see an announcement coming soon with the European news and ongoing crisis tbh. I can wait a bit long, waited long enough already.

Because she wants to. I can list for you, without even thinking about it, at least 10 artists who didn't give a damn about the pandemic and kept promoting their stuff and who will likely continue to promote themselves even if this war breaks out.

Gucci's shooting ended in early May. The tour should have taken place during summer of last year.

 

She was doing nothing during last year's summer. She was only busy for a few days in early July and early August to film MTV Unplugged and the One Last Time special with Tony, all of which could have been brought forward to May/June. Thus, she would have 3 months for the tour (July-September), since the Vegas residency only returned in October.

I don't recall a US artist touring Europe in summer 2021. Most of the festivals were cancelled too. She did postpone the tour for 2021, but it couldn't take place.

 

Even couple of weeks ago Doja Cat cancelled her performance at the BRITs due to covid.

 

I think they should inform us more about the plans, because it's frustrating, but in the end the tour was never going to happen before 2022 anyway.

Not in Europe but a lot of acts like Guns N' Roses and Harry Styles were touring the US throughout the summer and fall of 2021. She could have pushed the international dates to 2022 and played, like, 20 shows in the US in 2021 like most artists did.

And what does Doja have to do with BRITs or Gaga? The award took place without her, it was an isolated case.

Just an example of how fragile moving the entourage to Europe might be. But next summer it should be easier I reckon. If only we get some updates.

Twitter rumours indicate that the announcement comes on Monday.

The Weeknd is going to announce his tour today so she better hurry up, stop playing superwoman and announce this tour for good.

The timing of the announcement of the tour would be atrocious tbh but if someone is touring Europe this summer we need those new dates soon for people travelling, taking leave from work, saving up for accommodation. Like realistically if the shows are this summer how much notice can we get beforehand? Like for global artists they usually announce things well before 6 months don’t they?
