Top 10/20 single is great these days! It's not Lisa Scott-Lee kind of case.

 

Top 10/20 is great these days if it is a normal natural growth and a normal chart run fir songs these days, where they rise for 4 or 5 weeks, float in the top 10 or 20 for a few weeks then gradually drop.

If Little Mix have the same trajectory for their new song than they did woth Bounce Back then it is somewhat a disaster. Little Mix need a song to grab the general public back not get an artificially high first week peak from fan downloads, NMF playlisting and fan hype and then it just drops when it gets no traction from anyone else.

Hopefully Zara / Kygo and Tyga can go top 50 tomorrow *.*

It will peak at number 3 this week and that's it, it can't go higher, BMH can build momentum, although Drake Mega hit is coming this Friday so... I don't think it's gonna matter anyway.

Because only one song is allowed to be a hit at any one time? :P

 

I obviously haven't heard the Drake song/snippet yet but from what I've read about it so far it doesn't really sound like the kind of thing that is gonna be a huge long running hit. I think people are already seeing right through it being a blatant attempt to pander to TikTok, I could really see it being something that's big at first but very quickly dies off, much like 'Futsal Shuffle 2020' (in the US).

 

Or it might just be #1 for 9 weeks. What do I know. xo
