Well its very different from their other stuff, quite poppy and dancey verse with a pop/punk chorus of typically Fall Out Boy.

I do like if I am honest :o

The titles lyrics ACTUALLY feature in the song may I say though :o

What an utterly cliched, stereotypically 'angsty' song-title.... Third hand Manson-isms and the band themselves are an utter joke... They make MCR seem like The Dead Kennedys....

Just heard this now.

I ain't a fan of Fall Out Boy but this song is gonna be huge. I've heard ot the once and its already going round and round in my head. This song will probably take them in the same direction that WTOBB took MCR.

Haven't heard this yet but I do like Fall Out Boy. Fingers crossed that I'll like it.

Oh goody, more weedy, whiny, angst-ridden, totally lame-o fodder for the Kerrang generation then....

'Emo', probably the most wretched, pathetic excuse for a music scene ever....

Why the fukk is this Emo sh!t taking up house room in the Metal/Punk forum John.....? It's getting to the point where I'm actually avoiding this forum cos it's full of ruddy Emo threads.... <_<

I love this song and i love Fallout Boy. I'm not sure when this is out but it already seems to be everywhere, i've seen it on T.V twice and heard it on the radio 3 times within the last few days. Hopefully it'll do very well, role on album release!
I quite liked their last album, but I have to say that I absolutely love this :o Very catchy

I do really, really like this.

I burst out laughing earlier though, I was listening to it closely and realised it sounded like he was saying "this ain't a scene, it's a god damn arse face".

'This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race,' is definitley my favourite Fall Out Boy single so far even though I do like their past singles and 'Under The Cork Tree,' was a brilliant album. Very glad they are experimenting with their sound though and hopefully 'TAAS, IAAR,' will manage to climb into the top 3 due to it's physical release this week. :D

should be number one!!! esp with the 3 format offer (well it works for u2!!!). then again larger than life by the backstreet boys only got to number 5

The Backstreet Boys comparisons are completley baffling imo, I don't think that 'TAAS, IAAR,' sounds like anything BSB would have made, for a start-off FOB are much better imo and they are still completley different genres. I still think Mika will stay at #1 as his physical release was also this week and he has being at #1 for the past 2 weeks on downloads alone.

What does the song title even mean?

Absolutely nothing Lucy, nothing at all.... Like all of 'Emo', it's all about totally empty-headed sloganeering that says and means nothing.... As the Bard once said "Much ado about nothing".... And as another great man once said "A lot of sound and fury signifiying nothing at all"..... Both quotes are apt descriptions of the Emo/Kerrang!! generation.....

Lol. I mean I don't mind a long song title, but if it actually has a meaning and some relevance.
