Devastated NADINE COYLE is a girl alone after her long-distance relationship with US-based Desperate Housewives star JESSE METCALFE came to a sorry end. The couple made the difficult decision to part two days ago in an emotional phone call following a passionate eight-month liaison. But as her pal mourns her lost love, bandmate SARAH HARDING is enjoying dates with a scruffy new fella. The two are said not to have spent a minute apart since their first date last Friday. Nadine and Jesse made a mutual decision to call off their romance after telling each other they were still madly in love — but concluding that there was no future for them unless one or the other gave up their career so they could spend more time together. A pal revealed: “They had a tearful phone conversation at the start of the week and called it a day. They have both been flying to spend a few days with each other between work commitments. But it has not been easy. “Nadine is enjoying the best run of success that Girls Aloud have had. Their greatest hits album just went to No1. And they have signed up for a massive tour and new studio album next year. “So her work diary is filled up to 2008 and Jesse’s film career has really taken off. “It wasn’t what either of them wanted — but they felt they had no other option. “Work has had to come first.†Jesse is filming a movie called Loaded alongside hard man actor VINNIE JONES, playing a rich young clubber who descends into the seedy drug underworld of Los Angeles’ trendiest nightspots. The couple had openly talked about buying a house in LA — and Nadine was even thinking of moving to America so they could set up home properly. But she now feels she cannot sacrifice her singing career when it is going so well. At least things are looking up for Sarah. The blonde singer stepped out in public for the first time with her new bloke at the Casino Royale aftershow party in London on Tuesday night. Aloud out ... Friends tell me Sarah spotted the chap — an unkempt journalist — at an event a few months ago and immediately told the other girls in the band how much she fancied him. They finally got talking, which led to their first night on the town last Friday. And though it is early days I’m told it’s been impossible to get a cigarette paper between them since. A source said: “Sarah is over the moon and likes the fact she’s met a down-to-earth guy. Her previous boyfriends have been in the public eye and have used her for their own publicity.†It just remains to be seen if being in love makes the committed ligger mend her ways and scupper her chances of taking my Caner Of The Year award. November 19, 200618 yr well HMV have said there was a new studio album for a while now, so I guess we know The Sun's source :lol: But I can't see why they wouldn't :cheer:
