TBH, I'm not impressed with this album. Everything sounds clumsy and just like some old LAMB songs that've been re hashed. When Gwen's going for urban chick with the hot beat and the catchy lyrics I don't feel like she pulls it off at all. She does hit a few high points with Sweet Escape, 4 in the Morning and Early Winter but even with those I feel like it's more style over content whereas, with LAMB it felt like it was style with content. I dunno....maybe it'll grow on me.

Pharell hasnt really done much for the album, i only really like Yummy which he has produced ^_^

I read a review of Wind It Up and there was something in there which I relaised is what I don't like about this album:

 

But it's quirky for the sake of it, and there's nothing more jarring than that.

 

I think that sums it up perfectly. She's trying too hard to be wacky on this album and it just sounds overblown and obvious and ends up being predictable.

I have to say that i bought the album today at HMV and i'm extremely disappointed! :( I was really looking forwards to it! Wind It Up is the only good song on the CD and maybe just one other. I hope it grows on me! :(
