November 21, 200618 yr Author well that is really good i am looking forward to it. will it be on tele though after becuse i really want to watch the match. :D I think Sky have the rights to The Ashes now. So it'll be on Sky Sports. :D But I think I heard right in that there will be highlights every night on BBC 2 and via the Red Button I think.
November 21, 200618 yr Oh i didn't know that sky took over. becuse last year it used to be on bbc two lasy year that is all. :D well i think i will still be watching it even it is on sky sports.

November 21, 200618 yr Yeah I think I may be watching a bit on Sky Sports as well. Its on late though but i'll be up for a bit of it anyhowz. Yes i will watch it becuse it is our country that is playing. I will be up as well to see what is happening if we are loasing or winning

November 22, 200618 yr getting slightly excited  I might stay up to 2 or 3. Gotta be up at 9 for Uni :( so I can't do an all nighter for the first day
November 22, 200618 yr Author Australlia have won the toss and are opting to bat first. :( Giles is also in the team ahead of Panesar. Made move IMO. Giles is more experienced, but Panesar has the ability to really change a game to be within England's favour.
November 23, 200618 yr Australia 72 for 1 as I went to sleep last night. Not caught up with todays action yet.
November 23, 200618 yr Not looking good Australias have 346 for 3 wickets. Ponting is 137 not out and Hussey 63 not out. Looking like rain is required
November 23, 200618 yr Author Well England have had it for this test. :( All they can hope for is a draw at best and I don't think thats gonna be very likely. :(
November 23, 200618 yr It depends how well they can keep the bat for. Tosses (without the r  ) have such a great impact on the outcome of cricket matches. If Englad had won the toss, Australia would most probably have been on the back foot.

If Englad had won the toss, Australia would most probably have been on the back foot. I don't think they'll bat too well tbh. :( If Harmison plays like he did on Day One then England don't have a hope of bowling them out. I reckon The Aussies will declare at some point on Day Two as I really don't see England being able to bowl them out. :manson: Not that thats a bad thing of course as England don't really have a chance to win the first test now. But your right about tosses though. They have a huge impact on games normally.
November 23, 200618 yr Harmison's opening delivery just summed up the day. Let's hope we some how get a draw out of this test. But England have gone into this series with too many question marks surrounding their bowlers, so the first day's outcome was not surprising.
November 24, 200618 yr Author Well England really don't have a chance now. There 50 odd for 3. :manson: This result could be quite embarassing fr us if it carries on like its going at the moment. :(
