We all know Gnarls Barkey has got to number one on download sales alone, however on the news last night it said there was no video to go with the track. i was wondering if there are any other singles of the 1990s and 2000s that didnt have no video to go with the track?

Elvis prisley i think he didn't have a video for a little less converstion the first week.
What was that they played on TOTP last night?? It looked pretty good I thought it was the vid?
I can think of a couple from the mid-1980's but am racking my brain to think of some from the 90's & 00's...

95% of number 1s before the end of 1975 didn't have a video.

Some acts had Promotional film clips but video was unheard of then.

The first purpose made VIDEO as such was for Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody.

Did the Arctic Monkeys have a video for Dancefloor?

Stardust's Music Sounds Better With You got to number 2 and that didn't have a video

That Stardust song did have a video. Something with a boy flying a kite???

Michael Jackson's "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" got to No.1 and that song didn't have a video

I remember TLC's 'No scrubs' getting to 3 or something without a video. That came after the release.

I'm sure I know a couple of number ones without videos but I can't think at the mo!

My boss thinks this was an urban myth, as he says the first one was actually some bloke from the monkees with going down to rio (mike nesbitt?)

They made that after it had charted.
