Oliver Malcolm is slowly building up hype and is expected to finally make waves in 2020. He is a Swedish born, Londoner making trippy, vulnerable and gritty music.

 

His debut single 'Switched Up' is amazing - it's received big hype from blogs online and follow-up 'Helen' has similarly caught the attention of the interwebs.

He has come out of nowhere and is killing it!

I'm surprised this shows up under R&B and hip-hop instead of Indie, Alternative and Rock. :o Anyway, Helen is really innovative. I like the beginning with the iconic sound playing solely on the left ear channel and the right ear channel alternately, then converging together! :o :o Oliver Malcolm's vocals are very different as well. Kevin is a disappointment for me unfortunately :( Maybe he set the bar very high after that amazing Helen.

I LOVE his sound. I think he has a lot of potential.

Had not come across this guy before but will definitely keep an eye on him, liking all three of these songs so far! ('Kevin' slightly less so than the other two which are both an song :music:)

 

'Helen' is my fave I think, loving the v quirky instrumental, giving me some slight Ben Khan teas ~
