Brandy's first album in nearly ten years is due to be released in July, the first single 'Baby Mama' was released last week and is a bop! See below;

 

Ooh I'm liking the sound of "Baby Mama". I didn't realise it had been so long since her last album. I absolutely love her voice, her vocals are so distinct, hope this new album has some strong songs on it.

I'm going to give it a listen when I finish work! It's been a very low key affair, not much promotion at all given its her first album in eight years!

It’s number 7 on uk iTunes which is a surprise even in the tiny sales climate.

So I have listened twice at first I thought it was all the same . Second time I appreciated it so much more.

I do find a lot of R&B female albums are very samey lately which is a shame :(.

I’m happy to finally have a new album but the production is a bit too minimalistic for me, which R&B has sadly become since like 2014. Love Borderline, Baby Mama and Bye Bipolar though, Lucid Dreams is a grower too

Hoping this can chart in the top 100 but I’m not too sure, it’s performing similarly to JoJo’s album on iTunes and that missed it.
