Thanks for all your hard work Dan, really enjoying this countdown!

I second that! Thanks for your hard effort in these difficult times Dan, much appreciated for all of us dance music fans. :P

Can't wait to know the final top 100. :w00t:

162 Martin Solveig & Dragonette – Hello

161 DJ Snake & AlunaGeorge – You Know You Like It

160 MK, Jonas Blue & Becky Hill – Back & Forth

159 Avicii feat. Aloe Blacc – SOS

158 Duke Dumont – Won't Look Back

157 Avicii – Silhouettes

What an amazing run of songs there *.* SOS is maybe the only weak one of the bunch but even that is a 9/10 at least

Fingers crossed for Flume to make it!

Marshmello is out of the race as 'Happier' is his highest track of three. David Guetta & Sia also lose two of their collabs meaning only 'Titanium' made the final, and Calvin loses another track too - but he still has 7 tracks in contention for a place in the final alongside the 5 that've already made it such was his dominance.

Kygo loses two in this section leaving just 'It Ain't Me' and his two AQs in possible contention. One of DJ Fresh's #1s drops out but 'Hot Right Now' could still make the final. Knife Party are out of the running as 'Antidote' is the highest of their two - it is the lowest ranked SHM track (but it doesn't deserve to be). Also very much unjustly underperforming from their Heat positions are 'Breathe' and 'Changes'.

121 Flume feat. Kai – Never Be Like You

SF1: 37th; 65 points

2016: 10th; 100 points

For non-top 40 hits, 'Tough Love' and 'Never Be Like You' do rather well here, but it's not enough for either to make the final cut. The Chainsmokers' biggest hit 'Closer' doesn't manage to make it, but '#selfie' is still in the running to join 'Don't Let Me Down'. Tiësto & Jonas Blue both lose their 2nd-highest songs leaving 'Ritual' as their only chance to make the final. Nero are also out of the race now as 'Guilt' is their highest entry of two, with the only entries for Flume, Alexis Jordan, Storm Queen and James Hype here too.

2015: 7th; 100 points

Axwell /\ Ingrosso lose both of their entries here alongside a few absolute tunes that really should've got through especially 'Language' and 'My Love'! But at least my least favourite song of the bunch in 'The Middle' has fell short. :P I'm sure 99 Souls will be pleased to know the track they originally introduced to Buzzjack themselves eventually made it as our 111th-favourite dance tune of the decade too!

101 Calvin Harris feat. Kelis – Bounce

SF1: 26th; 79 points

2011: 13th; 113 points

Calvin Harris loses two here which means he still gets five tracks to qualify from the semis but frustratingly it's 'Bounce' and 'TIWYCF' that both only just miss out, two big faves of mine - and 'Bounce' was just one point behind... five different songs - and with tiebreak it would've qualified if I'd have given it an extra point, oh well. Alesso in the other semi however did lose out on a tiebreak, getting one fewer vote than the song in 25th.

It's also quite unfortunate for Pendulum - 'Watercolour' was ranked the 28th best dance song ever last year, but it is only the 102nd best dance song of this last decade. They have no other entries in this rundown. Riton loses his highest of two entries with 'Turn Me On' falling short, Phillip & Anton lose their only entry as do Showtek, and Chase & Status lose their highest of two.

I would love a RATE in the final.

By the way, I'm crying blood tears for Alone No More & Heroes(We Could Be) especially with the latter being eliminated in a tiebreaker.

Thanks to the 15 of you who voted in the final, let's get results commencing.

96 Wynter Gordon – Dirty Talk

2011: 9th / 131p | SF1: 25th / 80p | 6.0313

97 Azealia Banks feat. Lazy Jay – 212

2012: 10th / 145p | SF1: 24th / 80p | 6.0000

98 Pitbull feat. Ne-Yo, Afrojack & Nayer – Give Me Everything

2011: 15th / 96p | SF1: 23rd / 80p | 5.8750

99 Lost Frequencies feat. Janieck Devy – Reality

2015: 20th / 59p | SF2: 25th / 75p | 5.7188

100 The Chainsmokers – #selfie

2014: 18th / 69p | SF1: 12th / 94p | 5.2813

As I expected The Chainsmokers' love-or-hate anthem '#selfie' ends up right at the bottom, I was very surprised it managed to even qualify to the final in the first place. The other surprise Q from Lost Frequencies is in 2nd-last, it is particularly impressive it made it this far though as it came 20th in the yearly round AND 25th in the semi-final, literally scraping through in both cases. Pitbull's Kodak sponsored anthem is next to leave sadly, I think it deserves to be a fair bit higher. It is the sole credited appearance for Afrojack here but 'Titanium' is yet to appear. Azealia Banks and Wynter Gordon's only hits of the decade complete the bottom five.

91 Tiesto, Jonas Blue & Rita Ora – Ritual

2019: 7th / 134p | SF1: 8th / 103p | 6.6250

92 Kelis – Acapella

2010: 8th / 137p | SF1: 15th / 88p | 6.5625

93 David Guetta feat. Nicki Minaj – Turn Me On

2011: 12th / 119p | SF2: 6th / 107p | 6.1875

94 Silk City & Dua Lipa – Electricity

2018: 6th / 141p | SF1: 19th / 85p | 6.1250

95 DJ Snake feat. Justin Bieber – Let Me Love You

2016: 8th / 112p | SF1: 21st / 80p | 6.0625

'Let Me Love You' was the only Bieber feature to make the final and it is the first of two tracks for DJ Snake here. Silk City's 'Electricity' is also bottom 10 despite Dua Lipa's feature. She has two more features remaining, as does Rita Ora who drops out with 'Ritual' (the only final entry for Tiësto or Jonas Blue). David Guetta has two tracks in the bottom 10 with his own 'Turn Me On' alongside 'Acapella' produced for Kelis.

86 Watermät – Bullit

2014: 20th / 67p | SF1: 9th / 101p | 6.8125

87 Katy B – Katy On A Mission

2010: 9th / 133p | SF2: 9th / 100p | 6.7813

88 Avicii – Heaven

2019: 9th / 111p | SF1: 6th / 112p | 6.7500

89 Yolanda Be Cool vs. D Cup – We No Speak Americano

2010: 7th / 140p | SF2: 24th / 78p | 6.7500

90 Jax Jones feat. Demi Lovato & Stefflon Don – Instruction

2017: 14th / 105p | SF2: 18th / 87p | 6.6875

The first of 10 Avicii songs, 'Heaven' finishes in a still respectable 88th, considering it wasn't one of his big UK hits. It is definitely up there in my top 10 favourite songs ever so I'm just glad it was able to make the final cut. Another personal EOY #1 of mine, 'We No Speak Americano' is a place lower, being the only hit for both performers involved, and the biggest track of the very brief electro-swing trend. Jax Jones also makes his first appearance with 'Instruction', which gave Demi Lovato a #1 hit in my personal chart which I'd never have guessed would happen. It's the first of 6 appearances for him. Katy B's only track here is her breakthrough hit, although it's worth noting her actual most popular track on Buzzjack 'Crying for No Reason' was not eligible here for being too pop. And finally a bit of a surprise entry here for Watermät with the brief UK top 20 hit 'Bullit', notable for being one of the few instrumental hits to break the chart during the decade. I can't complain though as it's a great track.

81 Jax Jones feat. Ella Henderson – This Is Real

2019: 6th / 137p | SF2: 21st / 85p | 7.0000

82 Duke Dumont feat. Jax Jones – I Got U

2014: 6th / 135p | SF1: 14th / 90p | 6.9063

83 Daft Punk feat. Pharrell Williams – Get Lucky

2013: 3rd / 193p | 6.8750

84 Inna – Hot

2010: 11th / 126p | SF2: 22nd / 80p | 6.8750

85 Kelly Rowland feat. David Guetta – Commander

2010: 5th / 154p | 6.8750

The first AQ to slip is 'Commander' which means David Guetta has 2 of his 5 entries drop in the first twenty. Daft Punk's sole entry 'Get Lucky' also surprisingly drops out, this deserved much better but sadly it got a few low rates including a -1. Jax drops out two sections in a row with 'This Is Real' being here, which brought Ella Henderson back to the chart in a big way after 4 years, alongside his co-production for Duke Dumont on 'I Got U'. Inna who was big in Europe in the early part of the decade had her biggest UK hit in 'Hot' which is her sole entry in the final at #84.

76 Swedish House Mafia feat. Pharrell – One (Your Name)

2010: 3rd / 161p | 7.0625

77 David Guetta feat. Rihanna – Who's That Chick

2010: 4th / 159p | 7.0313

78 Sigala feat. Bryn Christopher – Sweet Lovin'

2015: 10th / 87p | SF2: 16th / 92p | 7.0313

79 MNEK & Zara Larsson – Never Forget You

2015: 5th / 106p | 7.0313

80 Fisher – Losing It

2019: 5th / 138p | 7.0313

Fisher broke through with huge club/festival hit 'Losing It' which only managed to make the lower half of the UK chart but qualified to the final anyway and is 80th. 'Never Forget You' which gave Zara Larsson her first world hit follows. We'll be seeing her again much later on. Sigala's first of two appearances is my personal fave of his 'Sweet Lovin', and SHM have their first of 4 appearances with their debut 'One'. David Guetta isn't having much luck in the final so far as another of his drops out, this time it's his Rihanna collab which means she only has 'We Found Love' in the running now.

75 Dynoro & Gigi D'Agostino – In My Mind

2018: 2nd / 179p | 7.0625

Calvin Harris has 10 appearances here and all of them are in the top 75 with his lowest being 'I Need Your Love'. It finishes with the same average score as both 'Greyhound' and 'One' from SHM, alongside Dynoro's sole hit 'In My Mind'. It is the lowest track here to have reached 2nd in its yearly round, Edward Maya also did so and drops out too with another European 1HW Alexandra Stan a place below.
