Hmmm the bottom 5 are all love or hate, no surprises there.

I was expecting top 50 for Get Lucky but it is not one of my faves.

Shame I Need Your Love is Calvin's lowest appearance. It is my second fave of his.

Sweet Lovin' is my biggest loss so far. :( I really love it.

70 Snoop Dogg vs. David Guetta – Sweat

2011: 11th / 121p: 11th / 95p | 7.1563

Armin van Buuren only managed one big hit (sadly - he really deserved more) but it did well enough to finish in 66th here. It's a place above one of the fan favourites of Avicii, 'Without You' which unfortunately never got given a proper UK push but was still one of his biggest hits worldwide. Mike Posner's surprise comeback (which lasted for exactly one song) assisted by Seeb (who also never had another UK hit - 'Breathe' robbed) is 68th, which was one of the biggest songs of the year. Klangkarussell managed to get a hit during the chill house trend with the lovely 'Sonnentanz', which is 69th. Meanwhile David Guetta has another dropout in 'Sweat' which had Snoop Dogg get an unlikely hit as a lead performer in 2011. He now only has 'Titanium' left in the running so we won't see him again for a while.

61 DJ Fresh feat. Rita Ora – Hot Right Now

2012: 13th / 118p | SF2: 19th / 86p | 7.3125

62 Klingande – Jubel

2014: 14th / 86p | SF1: 22nd / 80p | 7.2813

63 Mr Probz – Waves (Robin Schulz Remix)

64 Avicii – Addicted To You

65 Avicii – Waiting For Love

2015: 11th / 78p | SF1: 7th / 106p | 7.2500

More Avicii tracks begin to drop out now with 'Waiting For Love' as the only track from 'Stories' in the top 100 plus 'Addicted To You' being the first of three from 'True'. Another big fave of mine sadly exits too in 'Waves' which was the breakthrough for Robin Schulz and the first of two tracks that he remixed here (none of his own material qualified). DJ Fresh's sole top 100 entry is 61st which was also the breakthrough for Rita Ora and first drum n bass #1. Klingande were another that were very lucky to qualify from the semis but manage a respectable 62nd anyway.

the reveal is going very fast :D

we've lost lots of great tracks already, sad about Get Lucky, think I gave it an 11 :/

also I Need Your Love gone :/

Not too surprised at #SELFIE and Reality finishing so low here as it's a real surprise they got into the final 100 anyway, but both tunes though! Respectable positions for Heaven, Bullit, Sonnentanz and Jubel too which is great to see as they were big faves of mine!
amazed people like Selfie, an absolute abomination

#Selfie is epic, still revisit it on YouTube sometimes.

Sweat video is fun too, love it!

Pity Mike Posner is still one-hit-wonder.

Jubel and Waves are amazing, should have been top 50 imo.

Mike Posner is most definitely not a one hit wonder, he had two massive hits and a third moderately big hit as a feature lol ~

Ok you won. :P

I used to like Cooler Than Me at the time (2010) but it's not nearly as good as I Took A Pill In Ibiza. So, in ten years I had completely forgotten about it. On the other hand, I can't even remember his insignificant feature on Cher Lloyd's With Ur Love.

By the way, I promise to check Polyhex next time. ;)

56 Clean Bandit feat. Sean Paul & Anne-Marie – Rockabye

2016: 5th / 138p | 7.3750

57 Otto Knows – Million Voices

2012: 5th / 184p | 7.3438

58 Calvin Harris & Sam Smith – Promises

2018: 3rd / 173p | 7.3438

59 Avicii – Hey Brother

2013: 9th / 147p | SF1: 2nd / 131p | 7.3125

60 Swedish House Mafia vs. Tinie Tempah – Miami 2 Ibiza

2010: 6th / 153p | SF1: 17th / 86p | 7.3125

SHM have another dropout before the final 50, leaving only one song left. Aside from the obvious favourite, it is 'Miami 2 Ibiza' that is voted their top track, helped by a great vocal from Tinie Tempah at his peak. Avicii loses another track in 'Hey Brother', a surprise underperformance here as it managed to finish 2nd in its semi-final. Calvin is also out with one of his most recent huge hits in 'Promises', but don't worry as we're still to see many more tracks from both of them. Sam Smith also has another track still to come. Otto Knows managed one big hit in the decade in 'Million Voices', another of the few with no lyrics to get chart success, although as the title suggests it had a lot of vocals. Another of the absolute biggest UK hits of the decade in 'Rockabye' drops out too, the first of four Clean Bandit tracks in the final.

51 The Chainsmokers feat. Daya – Don't Let Me Down

2016: 4th / 162p | 7.4688

52 CamelPhat & Elderbrook – Cola

2017: 8th / 135p | SF2: 14th / 92p | 7.4688

53 Martin Solveig feat. Ina Wroldsen – Places

2017: 11th / 118p | SF1: 10th / 98p | 7.4063

54 Example – Changed the Way You Kiss Me

2011: 6th / 158p | SF2: 8th / 103p | 7.4063

55 Sigma – Nobody To Love

2014: 13th / 89p | SF2: 23rd / 80p | 7.4063

Sigma's breakthrough track ends up being their only in the final, the song was one of a handful of drum n' bass songs to have made UK #1 and made a Kanye West track great by... removing all of Kanye's contributions oops. Next up is Example's biggest hit which was produced by Michael Woods and was another big #1. It's his only track to have made the final. Martin Solveig managed to get two tracks in, the first of which was this sleeper hit done with the lovely vocal and lyrics of Ina Wroldsen. CamelPhat likewise have two tracks here and the first of these is what was their mainstream breakthrough and massive club hit 'Cola', the biggest song of its year in EDM clubs and festivals. Meanwhile kings of money The Chainsmokers just miss out on the top half with their massive hit 'Don't Let Me Down', their highest track in the rundown.

46 LMFAO feat. Lauren Bennett & GoonRock – Party Rock Anthem

2011: 5th / 162p | 7.5313

47 Martin Garrix & Dua Lipa – Scared To Be Lonely

2017: 3rd / 174p | 7.5313

48 Rudimental feat. John Newman – Feel The Love

2012: 4th / 205p | 7.5313

49 Tove Lo feat. Hippie Sabotage – Stay High (Habits Remix)

2014: 11th / 98p | SF2: 4th / 119p | 7.5000

50 Calvin Harris & Alesso feat. Hurts – Under Control

2013: 12th / 124p | SF2: 11th / 98p | 7.4688

Calvin Harris starts the way he could potentially finish the top 50 with his 8th-highest entry 'Under Control', which is the highest track for Alesso - his track with Tove Lo didn't make it but her own 'Stay High' is a place above. Rudimental's breakthrough hit 'Feel the Love' remains their best regarded and is at 48th. Martin Garrix who could also contend with 'Animals' has his Dua Lipa collab as his 2nd entry. LMFAO's massive 'Party Rock Anthem' is also here as their only entry.

41 Major Lazer & DJ Snake feat. MØ – Lean On

2015: 1st / 147p | 7.6875

42 Disclosure feat. Sam Smith – Latch

2012: 2nd / 239p | 7.6563

43 Lilly Wood & The Prick – Prayer In C (Robin Schulz Remix)

2014: 1st / 198p | 7.5938

44 MK – 17

2017: 5th / 158p | 7.5938

45 Meduza feat. Goodboys – Piece Of Your Heart

2019: 3rd / 179p | 7.5625

Meduza were the last big newcomers of the decade getting two big hits last year which both sit in the top 50, their first lands at #45. MK had an impressive decade too which peaked with '17' - he still has another track that he remixed yet to come. The highest Robin Schulz track here is the remix of 'Prayer In C' which gave him a 2nd big hit very soon after 'Waves' had just smashed. Big mainstream breakthrough hits from Disclosure and Major Lazer finish just outside the top 40.

36 Years & Years – King

2015: 8th / 94p | SF2: 5th / 110p | 7.6875

37 Kungs vs. Cookin' On 3 Burners – This Girl

2016: 1st / 206p | 7.6875

38 Kygo & Selena Gomez – It Ain't Me

2017: 9th / 126p | SF1: 4th / 120p | 7.6875

39 Clean Bandit feat. Demi Lovato – Solo

2018: 5th / 148p | 7.6875

40 Au/Ra & CamelPhat – Panic Room

2018: 4th / 157 | 7.6875

Starting the top 40 is CamelPhat's highest entry and I also think it's their best track, that is their remix of Au/Ra's 'Panic Room' which was her only UK hit. Clean Bandit have 3 appearances in the top 40 and the first of these is 'Solo'. Personally I wouldn't put it anywhere near the top 40, they are capable of better even if this is a bop. Kygo dominated the latter half of the decade in the EDM world and particularly with this track which is not far from a billion Spotify streams! It is of course 'It Ain't Me' which saw Selena on a dance track again, except this time it was much better than her previous effort with Zedd. In the summer of 2016 there was a definite stand out of the selection of dance hits at the time and that was 'This Girl' from Kungs, the song just sounds like summer! Sadly he couldn't recreate another like this but it's more than worthy of a top 40 position here, I think it should be a fair bit higher too. Years & Years are also here with their big dance/synthpop hit 'King' which became their first big hit and remains their biggest now. They went on in a more pop direction after this so it's their only entry here, I suspect 'Shine' could've gone top 100 too if I qualified it as a dance song.

31 Meduza, Becky Hill & Goodboys – Lose Control

2019: 8th / 133p | SF2: 20th / 85p | 7.7813

32 Zedd feat. Foxes – Clarity

2013: 10th / 146p | SF2: 3rd / 145p | 7.7500

33 Tim Berg – Seek Bromance

2010: 1st / 222p | 7.7500

34 Calvin Harris feat. Haim – Pray To God

2015: 6th / 102p | SF2: 7th / 105p | 7.7188

35 Calvin Harris feat. Florence Welch – Sweet Nothing

2012: 6th / 180p | SF1: 20th / 84p | 7.6875

The last 2 sections contained no Calvin Harris but we're back to normality now with two more of his dropping out. The dance forum have seemingly decided 'Spectrum' is the better meet-up of Calvin & Florence but 'Sweet Nothing' performs very well too finishing at 35th despite a less-than-great semi-final performance. It is joined by one of his most underrated (in the real world) hits 'Pray To God', but that's not much of a surprise as it's always received its fair share of love here. The other performer with a load of qualifiers, Avicii follows with what was his breakthrough hit 'Seek Bromance' released under his own name before the Avicii brand got massive. It seems to still be well remembered despite the different name and for good reason too, I certainly underrated it at the time too, I had no idea he'd go on to be my all-time fave back then. Zedd you may know as being one of my least favourite of the current big name dance producers but I will always love 'Clarity' which you've also decided is your favourite Zedd track. It was the one that made him so big in the first place anyhow, but what you may not know is that Porter Robinson also helped make the song (#justiceforLanguage). Falling short of the top 30 is Meduza's other entry and their most recent hit 'Lose Control' which is also the most recent track to make the list. Only three more songs from last year are yet to come so it's clearly cemented itself as a fave of the year alongside their breakthrough hit.

The rundown will resume tomorrow with 30 through to 11.

Amazing result for King but I wish it was higher. :kink: I have no idea what's remaining.
