I actually forgot she released other singles last year and thought 'A Dangerous Thing' / 'Everything Matters' were the lead singles for the album oops - they are both faaaar better than the previous singles (especially the former which sounds lovely although I like the trap influence and surprise bilingualism on 'Everything Matters' too)!

Was thinking I might check out the album based on the quality of those two songs but suddenly no longer sure I can be bothered to :kink: I think it's a quiet week for album releases I care about though so I'll keep it as a maybe x

Decided to check out the album anyway - 'Cure For Me' was comfortably the worst song on the entire album (and 'Giving In To The Love' was one of the weaker tracks as well), the rest of it was pretty solid (if not mindblowing)! 'A Temporary High' is the clear standout from the stuff that wasn't already released so no wonder that was the focus track / new single, that's a much better example of AURORA going for a more poppy/synthy sound. 'You Keep Me Crawling' was also a highlight. And I really like 'Heathens' too (new to me as I missed its single release) although she'd better watch out for Lorde suing her as the melody is really identical to 'Buzzcut Season' in places...!

Surprised R1 are on board with Aurora again, not that I’m complaining!

"A Potion For Love" was original released as the B-side "Cure For Me" vinyl single last year and now the official digital release is here:
