I think it’s a shame Break My Heart will be heading to ACR but it’s ascent up the US Billboard makes the blow less brutal.

If only KSI released a week early. Not only he’s have a #1 album but he’d also deny LewCap another week at the top
Easy #1 for AriGa on Friday! Exciting.
Pretty insane that BTS's album in August 2018 landed at 14th in the charts. Now their soloist may outpeak that with a surprise mixtape you can download for free. The growth is phenomenal.
If GaGrande get #1 on Friday, I reckon the release of the album could give ROM higher sales to keep them at the top for another week

I do apologise if I seem stupid when asking this question:

When all the missing data is added, does KSI still have a chance in getting a No.1 album or is it certain that the 1975 will get their 4th No.1 album. Considering that KSI has now also released his deluxe version of the Album and a CD version too.

The presenter is a Eurovision stan!

A lot of people are yet they still pronounce "Jónsi" as [John-see]

at the current rate KSI is selling, it seems unlikely. I'm sure he'll do some last minute pushing so it could end up being closer than the mids suggest but I think The 1975 have it.

Thank you, I appreciate the reply.

does it mean anything that Break My Heart has been moving up the updates everyday for its ACR status? like if it ends up being at #11 again could it miss it or?
Predictions for Chromatica’s first week sales? I reckon 35-40k

I genuinely think it’ll be big...I reckon 55k

Chart positions don’t matter, ACR works on the number of streams. If Break My Heart does more than last week it will avoid it.

Similar to your prediction tbh.

Higher first week sales than Joanne for sure!

I’m thinking around 38k.

26k sales 12k streams

Sorry for the dumb question but what is ACR?

What is ACR and when does it happen?

To help freshen the chart the OCC introduced the 'accelerated chart ratio' (ACR). This affects the ratio at which its streams are converted into sales. After a song has been in the chart for at least nine weeks, and has been in decline for three weeks in a row, its streaming points are effectively cut in half (its premium ratio will decrease from 1:100 to 1:200, and its ad-funded ratio likewise from 1:600 to 1:1200). A song can therefore be on ACR as early as week ten (though any song older than 3 years is automatically on ACR permanently, regardless of how long it has spent in the chart). A song not on ACR is considered to be on SCR ('standard chart ratio'). This rule has been in place since W/E 13/07/17.

When ACR was first introduced 'decline' was defined as "negative week on week variance of combined sales and streams AND negative variance lower than the market rate of change week on week". However, from W/E 10/01/19 a new rule was introduced where 'decline' is now defined as "negative week on week variance of streams AND negative variance lower than the market streaming rate of change week on week". This means download sales will no longer be a factor in whether a song can 'avoid' ACR, and only streaming data will determine when ACR kicks in for any track

I had a feeling Break My Heart was pulling bigger Spotify numbers on day to day basis compare to last week...but then I guess in Apple Music and other platforms must be declining!!!
