We’ve had some reduced price stock on her website and HMV stores are opening so we could get some sales from that if they actually have it in stock to sell in store that is!

We could easily get another week at the top non consecutive though I think.

I remember reading there’s gonna be more BBC music shows (like the types Adele, Ariana, Buble and Sam Smith) did.

Be amazing if we got a Gaga one! Well an updated Gaga one we did get one during the Born This Way era although that was for ITV.

She is gearing up to start the promo I believe from next week, so I hope we get more UK slots! A BBC music show would be ideal

I am thinking around 8k and #2 this week!

I wonder how the promo will work!

Will it be similar to Duas promo like interviews and performances from home whilst there’s still restrictions.

In a way the way the pandemic has changed Gagas release date and then promo schedule it’s actually worked out better for her! I’m so excited for the promo to really begin though.

With UK stanning her so much now (total opposite to Joanne) i can see her doing a bit more performances and appearances in the UK this time. She does have her Vegas show still too though. We'll see!
Meanwhile in the US:

US album chart — HITSDD:

#1. Lil Baby — 64,432

#2. #Chromatica — 63,856

:gaga:

Omg so close!

Hope she can get a non consecutive second week there at some point.

In the US is it just Born This Way and A Star Is Born what managed more than a week at number one from her albums?

Yes, and The Fame never got to #1 :(

We could still a get a third week at #1 just non consecutive!

I had a look before and it seems that The Fame, Born This Way and A Star Is Born all had more than one run at the top (as in they climbed back to #1 after being knocked off -_- ) but this is such a result #2 in week 3!

When you think her last solo albums both dropped out the top 20 in week 3 so when you look at it that way it definitely shows this is translating into popularity outside the core fanbase. (I mean there’s also the fact there was way more competition when those were released) but this is all off just word of mouth promo and having good streaming support we haven’t actually had any performances yet!

1 Liam Gallagher - MTV Unplugged (Live At Hull City Hall) (14,520) *

2 Lady Gaga - Chromatica (4,038)

3 Jack Garratt - Love, Death & Dancing (2,723) *

4 Lewis Capaldi - Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent (2,419)

5 Manic Street Preachers - Gold Against the Soul (2,174) ^

Maybe ~8k by the end of the week? How likely is top 2 going off these numbers?

I’d say likely! I’d say Lewis will probably catch up to be #3 but I think we’re still #1 on streaming. The article from OCC says Liam has sold more physical, vinyl and downloads but doesn’t mention streams so Gaga still the most streamed album (I think anyways  she is #1 on Apple Music albums). That should be enough to keep her at #2!

9.4k sales now for the UK this week so far.

Amazon had an effect it seems as we gained 2.6k between updates with streaming data missing from yesterday and today’s sales still to be added too I think we could end up on something like 10.8k for this week.
