Nah, it won't be close to platinum until late next year. The sales in general just are not that strong. Only the absolutely most massive albums go platinum even in Q4 these days.

Gaga did THAT! It would’ve been even higher if shops like HMV had been open at the time and if the vinyl had the artwork too.

 

But what an opening. I remember thinking she’d do like 35K or so and she totally out did that and come close to doubling Joannes opening week.

Yeah a huge drop this week as there are once again a LOT of new entries. No worries - sales should be consistent.

Is she likely to be top 100 by Friday or not?

 

Hopefully it’s not the end of its top 100 journey.

Sales are SO close with so many of the songs around that area - it *could* recover!...

She’s still top 30 on Apple Music streams but that means nothing when playlists rule :lol:

 

Like Bryson Tiller is #5 on there and he’s in the 70s on today’s update

Crazy midweeks on albums with dozen Kraftwerk's in there :lol:

 

Hope Chromatica can be top 80-ish on Friday this week too.
