#12. (+7) Chromatica - Lady Gaga

*#7 without Van Halen's albums :cheeseblock:

I really hope Chromatica can surpass Joanne (which spent 22 weeks on the chart) and The Remix (which spent 23 weeks on the chart)!

Yeah even if it drops out this week, it will surely climb back in with the collector's edition being released etc. Would be good if it can do consecutive weeks, but we shall see ~

I'm a bit optimistic that she could do it this week tbh.

5 place climb in one day, she streams rather well for albums around that region and she's still reduced in price too.

(Idk where she is today but Mel C was apparently at 102 yesterday and I could see her overtaking her for example)

Holding out hope she can do it consecutively and get extra weeks. Hopefully we get actual promo in Q4 like a single added to Main playlists or a UK TV performance

Hope it had better streams though... We need another video single! Babylon where are you?

Apparently, the Queen is recording the video of her best song, Alice. :D

Babylon is another fire song, but it only fits as a closing single of the era, and since the tour only starts next summer, I hope she doesn't forget the album (again) until then and keep working on it, longevity is the key to success :)

It's up to #104 in the UK midweeks and looking at what's just ahead of it, it *could* be able to make the top 100 by Friday (hopefully) but might just miss out. Going to be close though...

I’m hopeful! I mean a 3 place climb is kinda promising! And I’m hopeful that she’s a better streamer than those who she’s *just* above.

It's clear that if they want some other songs making noise, they must stop messing around and put the songs on big playlists and send it to the radio$ of the biggest markets in the world, otherwise, no cheap ad on TV will boost songs because iTunes is dead and has no effect on charts nowadays.

Also, the narrative that record companies no longer invest on singles after the album's release is a lie as Levitating is literally the fifth single from Dua's Future Nostalgia (and the second released after the album release), and it's currently with 109M reach on Spotify (combined versions), that's almost the same reach that Stupid Love, a 1st single, had (120M).
