So why do you think the Ella Henderson song is #26 on AM and not in the top 200 on Spotify??

Is it just promotion on HH or something to do with her audience demographic??

it's cos Apple have the song really high on their Hits playlist and Spotify's equivalent doesn't have it at all.

Ella's label paid to have to song as track #1 on all the New Songs playlists on Apple Music

she's also on a lot of playlists on Spotify and pretty high, but she's missing from the main one, Hot Hits

Having now heard the BMTH song... I'm pretty surprised it is holding up so well considering it's a return to a much less commercial sound than their last couple of eras! But it is a great song so glad to see it, hopefully a top 40 debut is more or less in the bag at this point.

 

BLACKPINK still holding pretty well at #35 as well, and both versions of 'WHATS POPPIN' are climbing (#61 & #65, #19 combined). I liked the original song mostly for the instrumental as Jack Harlow isn't exactly the most charismatic performer, the remix is definitely an improvement with all 3 guests having solid performances! DaBaby's verse actually mentions that he got a UK #1 single *_*

 

Yassss for 'TKN' too as Jack mentioned (up to #96, first time in the top 100 since the day of its release).

I thought he was bragging about having a UK #1 too but I looked up the lyrics and sadly it is just a Billboard #1 brag

any reason why TKN is re-climbing? Don't see much Spotify support,

it's on Today's Top Hits but at the bottom and it's on Summer Hits UK but as last song

could do with a HH add!

It says the line is 'number one song in UK' on Genius! (That's even the only annotated line in his verse lol).

 

I guess it's possible that is a misheard line but it's definitely what I heard so I choose to believe it is our charts being relevant unless an official lyric video disproves it :kink: He'd have had to record the verse very recently for it to just be a Billboard reference.

 

edit: actually the video on YouTube does have some lyrics in it and confirms it is 'you can't', nevermind lol xx

 

edit 2: but Billboard themselves mentioned the lyric as being 'in UK' in their top 10 article this week so he's advertising that he has a UK #1 even if he did it unintentionally :lol: !

Honestly I'm almost willing to believe it's actually the lyric in the video that's wrong still (wouldn't be the first time lyric videos are clearly inaccurate), it definitely sounds more like 'in UK' than 'and you can't'. Massive coincidence if not. x

Genius lyrics can be edited by anyone, different sites are saying different lyrics for it. To me, I hear "you can't" - and I think him bragging about being #1 in the UK would be strange
