In an exclusive interview, Noel was asked by Sun readers to choose who he would aim at if he had a gun with only one bullet: Phil Collins or former Take That singer Robbie. The guitarist and songwriter, 39 — who has had a long-time feud with Robbie — said: “I don’t give a f*** about Phil Collins. I wouldn’t shoot him. I do think he’s a bit of a knob, though. “As for Robbie, I’d put the bullet in the gun as he’s eventually going to do it himself as he is a grossly unhappy person.†Noel’s pop at Robbie, 32 — who has been dogged by depression — comes in a tongue-in-cheek Q&A session in our award-winning Something For The Weekend section today. The Oasis chat also includes a rare interview with singer Liam, 34. He directs his scorn at his older brother, saying: “Noel’s getting weirder the older he gets — especially as he’s coming to 40. I bet he’ll have a yellow f*****g Ferrari next.†Noel hits back: “Liam needs to go to anger management classes and get some manners.†The band’s banter comes as their new best-of album Stop The Clocks battles with Westlife for this week’s No 1 spot.

November 24, 200618 yr Well Noel's already irritated The Beatles & Scissor Sisters fans this week, so he might as well have a pop at Robbie. Regarding his comments, you might not like them, but I could imagine waking up one morning & turning on the news and hearing that Robbie has topped himself, as he does seem to possess that Manic Depressive personality that could do something stupid like that.
November 24, 200618 yr Author If he had've insulted him as a singler or insulted his music like he did the SS and Beatles that would be fine but what he said was discusting. He is such an insensitive prick at times, but i'm sure he knew exactly what he was saying. And the comment about him giving Robbie the bullet to shoot himself proves that Noel is the one that needs help for having so much hate. :rolleyes: He has crossed a line with this comment. He probebly has'nt spoken to Robbie in about 10+ years so how the **** would he know he was grossly uphappy? Robbie has said he is happier now then he has been in years. I wonder if Parky will ask him tomorrow night about it <_<

November 24, 200618 yr I normally laugh at the Gallaghers comments too (even a lot of the ones insulting Robbie). But I didn't laugh at this one today. Way beyond the pale in my opinion. <_<

Exactly thisispop, that is why Robbie's fans are so upset and angry as well, I usually laugh at both of them and their pops at each other, but this is something else again. However, I do recall reading that Robbie is a lot stronger than people think he is, I hope he is and he is strong enough to dismiss Noel and this comment with the contempt it deserves.

November 29, 200618 yr strangely enough admirers of Oasis music are Robbie fans. I am one. but this outburst from Noel, stopped me buying the album last week. Not just because of the Robbie connection but also making light of some very serious issue's that people face everyday. Probably will buy the album this weekend.
