Thought I'd do it while they still have relatively long odds...

 

I put bets on Greece, Denmark and Romania last year-so I didn't do too badly, with Helena winning me a tenner and the other two finishing in the top 10!!!

 

I only put £3 on this year as I'm not too sure, whereas I was certain that Helena would win last year :o

 

So I'm hoping the western countries can bring it back this year so here are my bets:

 

£1.00 on UK at 8/1 which would win me £9 if Daz succeeds

£1.00 on Sweden at 8/1 which would win me £9 if Carola succeeds

50p on Belgium at 8/1 which would win me £4.50 if Kate succeeds

50p on Germany at 16/1 which would win me £9 if Texas Ligtning succeed

 

I genuinely hope that one of the above four (my favourites) wins this year

It would be super fab if the UK win this year! :cheer: It's unlikely but I reckon we have a big chance this year. I personally fancy Bosnia-Herzegovina, I don't really like the song but it's similar to Serbia & Montenegro 2004 which came 2nd.

That's like me with Swedish entry. I love it, I can't get it out of my head, especially now I've heard the English version!

and i personally think that this years winner will be again an eastern-european country :)

my hopes are on mine (Macedonia) but I guess more chances had Croatia,B&H or even my southern neighbours Greece again!!!!

I love Carola-it reminds me of the 1999-2001 pure Scandanavian pop era e.g. Selma, Friends, Ines etc...which I loved!!!

I actually really like the UK entry :o It's gonna be interesting to see how it does as it should do better than we have done in recent years unless the rest of Europe hates us and doesn't vote for us. (Iraq etc. -_- )
