Posted June 17, 20205 yr Teyana Taylor's follow up to (the great) K.T.S.E. is out this Friday and features collaborations with Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, Kehlani, Rick Ross, Future, Quavo... K.T.S.E. was the last of the five albums Kanye West produced in five weeks in 2018, and definitely the strongest of the five for me. I didn't realise she'd released quite a few singles since then (most of which are included on The Album), but just saw that it's out this week. That list of collaborators :cheeseblock: And THE ARTWORK. Incredible.
June 17, 20205 yr That artwork is stunning! I've only heard 'Morning' with Kehlani and I love that  I'll check it out on Fri!
June 19, 20205 yr I think the main problem is the ordering of the tracks, as the first half definitely sounded very samey on the first listen, but the second half is legit Album of the Year contender for me. Concrete, Lose Each Other, Still, Try Again, Friends alongwith the 3 singles in the second half legit leaving me speechless. So so so good. I’m annoyed that she put the filler all up at the start as I don’t want people to lose steam before getting to the best moments.
June 19, 20205 yr I'll give it another go! I hated Kehlanis new album on first listen for the same reason but I love it now.
