Racism won’t end also because of people who have the same mindset as yourself. Thinking that a singer you’re obsessed with (who is a woman..) needs to stay in her lane and not do anything because she’s just a singer. That’s what I got from this essay.

I'm not saying that she shouldn't do anything, I'm saying that she is the ONLY ARTIST who's actually doing something, because the rest are promoting their own work without giving a shit about it.

 

She was also the biggest loser, in respect to the BLM movement, commercially speaking, because she had to remain silent exactly from the day of the release of her new album until weeks later.
