This is now Taylor's album to spend the (joint) most weeks in the top 3 already! :o It's spent 4 weeks top 3, which matches 1989! :o Ofc it's already her album with the most weeks top 2 (1989 was previously top with 2 weeks).

 

This equals Red's amount of weeks in the top 10 this week. Next week it'll equal reputation and the week after lover as long as it stays in! Insane *.*

I'm hopeful they'll put some signed copies on the UK at some point because I'd argue we are her 2nd most important market. They might be waiting for a quiet week to grab another week at #1 (early September possibly)

Looking at the release schedule, I'd say w/c September 18th would be the most likely week for it to return to #1, with the main challenger being Doves, but even then I think their sales will be strong.

Just caught up on all this. So happy she’s going so well. Didn’t have the chance to listen to the album much while away but back on it now. Although I will say that listening to the lakes while walking through the country was the best sound track for it - loved it. Also, some of the tracks I didn’t appreciate before coming forwards for me.

 

To be on a par with Adele with regards to the amount of weeks debuting @ number 1 is awesome. I defo think this can can break album records in the U.K. in terms of chart positions.
