Gaga will probably not perform at the AMAs. They have such a huge bunch of people announced already so very unlikely that Gaga will be added. If anything, Taylor will be added to the lineup.

2021 Gold Derby Music Awards nominations: Lady Gaga leads with 8, followed by The Weeknd, Taylor Swift, Fiona Apple

For the first time in our history, our users were able to vote for their favorite songs, albums and artists of the year in the inaugural Gold Derby Music Awards, which cover the same eligibility period as the Grammys (September 1, 2019 through August 31, 2020). Over 900 users cast their ballots, and Lady Gaga came out on top with eight nominations.

Lady Gaga was nominated in every possible category — more than once in a couple. She’s up for Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (“Chromatica“), Record of the Year and Song of the Year (“Rain on Me” and “Stupid Love”), Best Pop Artist and Best Music Video (“Rain on Me”).

The nominees were decided by a ranked preferential ballot, but to pick the winners all you have to do is visit our predictions center here, click the green “VOTE” button next to “Gold Derby Music Awards 2021,” and pick just one nominee as your favorite.

:cheer:

I hope the Grammy won't be stupid to forget Chromatica and its singles on Tuesday, Gaga was clearly the artist of the year and the most victorious artist in every single awards.

As for the BRITs I hope she gets an international female nod. I still think she should at least get nominated.

Her competition would likely be Ariana, Kylie, Miley and Taylor. (I feel like I’m missing someone obvious but you do have to release an album to be nominated don’t you?).

I’m not too sure Katy would be nominated this year despite her releasing an album. I’m 50/50 on Kylie too but surely she should get a nomination.

Is International Album still a category at BRITs?

They stopped that award. They still award it to the international male and female of the year though.

Chromatica deserves a nomination for AOTY, not so much for its promotion—that was almost non-existent—but for its impeccable content.

That sounds a bit too good to be true.

ASIB was nominated for seven and it was way bigger commercial success. Critically, they are about even.

I would be happy with 3 or 4 noms.
