Love a bit of Arctic Monkeys although they lost me a little with their latest album. Still can't get over what a phenomenon their debut was, wasn't it the fastest selling debut album ever? Is that record still intact?

It was but it's been beaten twice now (Leona Lewis and Susan Boyle)

Surprising One D are so low, thought they would be a BJ fav!

I blame Joseph CareyStyles for not voting in this. :teresa:

My fave The Smiths song is Panic. I love that lyrics: Hang the blessed DJ Because the music that they constantly play It says nothing to me about my life.

I would say the same about Djs who play those awful hip hop songs currently in the UK charts haha.

Bananarama top 25 really? :o This is the biggest joke I've seen in these results.

Aul Bananarama are class, behave yourself!

Black Eyed Peas have had some fantastic songs over the years, I wouldn't say they've had any amazing albums as theres always a few duds on there but overall they are great.

Bananarama.. Erm OK, they have a few OK songs. But next

Arctic Monkeys I adored there first album, and a few others but not got into there most recent stuff. Can see why they are so high though

The Black Eyed Peas used to be a consistently great singles act but their legacy has been pretty thoroughly tarnished now (even as someone who generally liked the singles from 'The Beginning' at the time (although they've aged pretty badly), their pivot to Latin pandering with their album this year was very much no bueno).

Arctic Monkeys have always been solid, interested to see whether their next release continues their ~experimentation~ phase or if they'll go back to a more classic sound.

Bananarama... I like 'Venus' I guess? :kink:

I like R U Mine, but never massively got into AM at all - Do I Wanna Know is one of the most overrated indie songs of the decade (not bad, just doesn't go anywhere for me)

Bananarama are amazing, they have released some of the best pop songs in history. “Venus”, “I heard a rumor”, “Love in the first degree” , “Cruel summer” etci hoped they would be top 20...

obviously anyone making fun of their music should give their greatest hits a listen, so many great songs in their discography...

i saw them live 2 years ago or so, they are amazing and still have so much energy on stage ....

Extremely surprised and pleased that Muse has got this far! Never felt that they were particularly loved here.

Black Eyed Peas are so overrated. I used to really like their material from Elephunk, Monkey Business and The END (beside 'I Gotta Feeling' :puke:) but their stuff after 2009 went very downhill.

Shocked that Bananarama never managed to peak higher than #3. :o I thought 'Venus' was a #1! Surprised it only made #8.

S Club 7 had some great pop songs back in the day. My favourites include 'You', 'Have You Ever', 'Don't Stop Movin'' and 'I Really Miss You'.

Nice to see that I've given points to 50% of the top 20. :cheer:

Wow, really didn't expect Muse and Depeche Mode to finish above S Club 7!

Muse are easily one of my favourite rock bands, 'Absolution' is a stunning album

Depeche Mode are more of a singles band for me than an albums band but that's not to take anything away from them as they have plenty of songs that I love. 'Everything Counts' is a particular favourite and obviously 'Enjoy The Silence' is a classic :)

S Club were fine for what they were, a great pop band who delivered some very catchy songs, 'Don't Stop Movin' is easily my favourite and I still love hearing that when it gets played on the radio!

Can we make predictions for the Top 20 now? :D
