It’s seriously clicking with me now... and it wasn’t even a stand out on the album for me initially...

hopefully it’ll catch on and also continue to sell Chromatica.

‘Sine From Above’ as single #4 please.

You mean single #3. ^_^

oh that can't be right. surely little managers have already decided it's not a proper single because it doesn't fit their narrow view of what a single should be
i cannot wait to have people who refuse to admit this is a single purposefully ignore the tweet or make idiotic excuses
Yes, she did

This is an ad, which only appears for some people and for a short period of time (I for example didn't even know it existed), just look at the amount of likes, 2k, no one has actually seen this.

Spotify playlist reach for 3rd singles of female artists

Break My Heart - Dua Lipa — 155M

Break Up with Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored - Ariana Grande — 121.4M

Lover - Taylor Swift — 114.4M

You Should Be Sad — Halsey 112.8M

bury a friend - Billie Eilish — 105.6M

911 - Lady Gaga — 16.6M

Not even 20% of the playlists reach that all these other singles have had, BIG FAT MESS! Also, all these singles from other female artists were released and supported on the radio of major markets. As long as 911 doesn't get the same deserved investment that all these other songs had, it won't be single!

Sorry, but that doesn't make any sense. The first 4 were playlisted on a release date of the parent album IIRC. So, in that sense Sour Candy was the third single from Chromatica.

What I said makes perfect sense, and no, only 'Break My Heart' and 'Break Up with Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored' were released along with the album, 'Lover' and 'You Should Be Sad' were released a week before the album, same as Rain On Me.

And no, Sour Candy wasn't the third single from Chromatica because this song doesn't have a video, different from the other songs cited and it wasn't released on the radios of the biggest markets of the world as the other mentioned songs, it was just a promotional single. As we all know, without airplay, you don't get a hit in the US and in the other markets, you don't get high peaks/stability on iTunes.

Sorry, but when you compare songs, compare when they get the same opportunities and pushes, because your argument made no sense at all.

911 is a post album single tho!

So what? With the right push ($) any song released after the album can become a hit, even in the streaming era. The situation here is that Gaga's label wants to make money without spending money to promote her work, they let ROM leave TTH (Top 40 on Hot 100 as we speak) while Stuck with You by Ariana & Justin continues on TTH (even though it's OUT of the Hot 100), cuz it's Republic records who keeps Ariana's singles on playlists and they don't come to play, unlike Interscope who treats Gaga's career as a joke.

Soooo.. This isn’t being sent to radio in the UK?

Ugh, this feels like G.U.Y all over again - great video, awful rollout.

I think they are preparing to push Chromatica II as the next single hence its performance at the VMAs

We're talking about Interscope, one of the worst labels when it comes to promoting artists' work.
