I could say the same with Helena and I'm Not Ok and it'd be a range of 1. Doesn't really make sense.

He's talking bollocks, ignore him... His obsession with this pathetic excuse for a band is rather unhealthy and I reckon he needs to be committed.... :P

i dont like the way im being spoken about

Edited by ElPresRocket

el pres have just finished sell out tour of france and they also toured japan were their album went to no.1 for 3 weeks

TBH i don't really care, i heard songs you posted up in another thread and found them dull and boring, like most bands these days.

A sellout tour of France, bet that was HUGE! :)

tough shit, you made arrogant remarks, prepared to be talked about like this, you set yourself up for it and only have yourself to blame.

For France, You only need to sell a couple of thousand copies to get to #1, hardly a massive music market are they

be quiet you little pig....

jean warboise (Doreen Mantle (Arguably t.v's most loved presenter and star of one foot in the grave) was never this nasty to me

^^ If you don't like being spoken about in certain ways, don't speak about others in that way.

I think MCR are more popular than El Presidente.. who I've never heard of. I understand they may be your favourite band but MCR have attracted a lot of attention.

Seeing them in March.. looking forward to it. Famous Last Words isn't the best choice for a single IMO.. I thought "Dead" or "I Don't Love You" would have been a good second single.

i doubt it, el presidentes album has sold over 5000 copies

and? thats a tiny amount of sales for an album and most likely a fraction of what MCR have sold.

IL president album didnt do welll at all,id say 5-10 thousand at most, its a shame as its not a bad album at all

See??? at least someone likes them!!!!

Have you been in one of my two el pres threads on the indie section???

and? thats a tiny amount of sales for an album and most likely a fraction of what MCR have sold.

Exactly, I see plenty of kids around Camden, and London generally, wearing MCR hoodies and T-Shirts (sad little gits..  ), NOT ONE wearing an ElPres T-shirt, so......

To ElPresRules - Dude, it's perfectly okay for you to like your fave band, but stop making such outlandish claims that they are somehow more 'popular' in terms of impact and album sales than the likes of MCR (who I dont even LIKE anyway....), otherwise no one is gonna take what you say seriously and we'll all just think you're a spammer....

MCR may be musically sh!t, but unfortunately they are popular sh!t, as much as that personally pains me to admit.....

my names robert or you could call me elpresrocket (I dont know where you got elpresrules from!!!)

maybe your all right, maybe el pres arnt as populer as mcr, i was just being niave and foolish. no one likes el pres, their just some unkown scottish pop band that had a single go to no.30 last year.

Don't feel so bad about it Robert... God knows I wish more people were listening to Opeth or Tool than MCR, but there ya go, what can you do.......?

I dunno where I got "ElPresRule" from either tbh, my old brain is going a bit obviously  ....

is their any opeth on your top 50 thing???? ive never heard anything by them

They'll be on a Metal Top 50 thingie that I'll be doing at some point in the future, as will Tool.....

I call them sad cos they really are such pathetic little 'scene' kids... I'll take a few piccies of them some time and show you... I'll bet you're not really as bad as them....

Lol it's ok.

I know the sort you mean. I've seen enough of their myspace pages.

There's nothing wrong with wearing band stuff though. I've got an Avenged Sevenfold hoodie, and just ordered a Slipknot t-shirt too. ^_^
