October 1, 20204 yr Hey Riser 👋 Ooft. Midnight Sky just missing out on #1 although it could possibly hit it next month. I'm quite the fan of the track now. Nice to see Cardigan top 3. I wasn't a big fan of this to begin with so I'm glad to be able to enjoy it now. Mood is quite good, very 2000's though. Hallucinate leaking at #7? 🙃 It just hit #1 for me yay! Just looking at some of your chart runs near the bottom. I keep forgetting your chart is monthly so I'm just like why all these big drops 😂 Super chart!
October 1, 20204 yr Sup Jordan! 2. Miley Cyrus – Midnight Sky [8-2] This is proving to be quite the hit for her isn't it? And rightly so as it's a great song, let's hope she has more of this quality lined up! 3. Taylor Swift – Cardigan [19-3] 5. 24kGoldn feat. Iann Dior – Mood [17-5] I'm quite liking this slightly dated R&B sound (see also Rockstar from this year), I'm hoping we get a bit more of it before the year's up :) 6. Internet Money feat. Don Toliver, Gunna & Nav – Lemonade I'm quite a fan of lemonade... but not this kind :puke2: 7. Tate McRae – You Broke Me First I get the Billie Eilish comparisons but this sounds a lot more commercial to me than anything Billie's done! 8. Paul Woolford, Diplo & Kareen Lomax – Looking For Me [25-9] YESSSSSS get that top ten promo  9. Dua Lipa – Hallucinate [26-7-8] 14. BTS – Dynamite This is easily the best thing I've heard by them, it's just fun, unadulterated, catchy pop and we need more of it in the charts! Funny how K-pop hasn't exploded yet like people were predicting about 3 years ago :) 15. Maroon 5 – Nobody’s Love [26-15] 16. Clean Bandit & Mabel feat. 24kGoldn – Tick Tock This doesn't seem to be getting much love on Buzzjack but I think it's fine... not their best but also not their worst. 17. Ava Max – Kings & Queens [24-16-4-18-17] 19. Joel Corry feat. MNEK – Head & Heart [9-6-19] 21. Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande – Rain On Me [1-2-12-21] 22. Dermot Kennedy – Giants I can't believe how long this has taken to get going... the epitome of a sleeper hit! Peaked in my chart weeks ago :kink: 23. PS1 feat. Alex Hosking – Fake Friends [10-9-23] 24. Troye Sivan – Easy [29-24] Tbh I was expecting to see this quite a bit higher based on your comment on it on my chart :o 25. Jason Derulo – Take You Dancing [32-25] 26. James Bay – Chew On My Heart Easily my favourite James Bay song  this flopping is one of the chart disappointments of the year for me :( and it's one I don't get too, it's so commercial and radio-friendly, I just don't understand why radio weren't on board. 31. Sigala & James Arthur – Lasting Lover 32. DaBaby feat. Roddy Ricch – Rockstar [8-3-5-27-32] 34. Kygo x Tina Turner – What’s Love Got To Do With It Slightly belated seen as he's got a new single out since this one, but I'm happy to see it here nonetheless :D Not seeing this go at least Top 20 is another one of my chart disappointments of the year! 35. Kane Brown feat. Swae Lee & Khalid – Be Like That [22-35] 36. Drake feat. Lil Durk – Laugh Now Cry Later 37. Cardi B feat. Megan Thee Stallion – WAP The worst UK No. 1 for a VERY long time!!! :puke2: Some great songs in there this month, although TWO uses of the puke emoji drag things down a bit
October 3, 20204 yr Hi Riser! Nice to see the big gains for "Cardigan", "Mood" and "Looking For Me" into the top 10 and the debuts for "Tick Tock", "Dynamite", "Lighter", "Giants", "Ain’t It Different", "Lasting Lover", "What's Love Got To Do With It" and "Laugh Now Cry Later"! Great chart!
October 17, 20204 yr Author Hi! :hi: Sooo I basically re-issued this chart because 1) I forgot two songs, which is becoming a bad habit, and 2) I would rather have a new #1. So I'm guessing some of these comments will be a little outdated but that's okay! Hey Riser 👋 Ooft. Midnight Sky just missing out on #1 although it could possibly hit it next month. I keep forgetting your chart is monthly so I'm just like why all these big drops 😂 Super chart!Well you'll be pleased to see Midnight Sky is #1 now 😜 I very much agree about Cardigan, it didn't make an impression on me at first and I never would've imagined it being in my top 3! Yeah I feel bad for Hallucinate only peaking at #7, I could've sworn I charted it higher than that 😳 It's been a competitive chart lately! Thank you for commenting :D Sup Jordan! 2. You may be pleased to see Sia has now been added to the chart :o 2. Yes, totally agree. Although I thought her singles last year were equally as good...hopefully she keeps it up, anyway! 5. Yeah, me too, it's a nice trend. And I generally like short songs but this one's a little too short for my liking! 6. Well....prepare yourself because this will most likely be my next #1 :teresa: 7. Completely agree, I think it is great in its own right and the Billie Eilish comparisons are a bit lazy! 8. I think that's the biggest reaction I've ever seen from you in any song that I've ever charted! :o  14. Yep, I guess you could say it's this year's 'Sucker'! Now that BTS and Blackpink have really found their stride, maybe some more K-pop acts will break through. 16. It is just a little too average for their comeback single, they could've done with something that stands out a little more. But, I also think it's fine and it could make my top 10! 22. Definitely a sleeper hit, I wasn't a fan on first listen but it finally clicked a few weeks ago. I'm generally a Dermot fan so I'm happy for him! 24. Oh really? Ultimately I guess I prefer 'Take Yourself Home' more. 26. What bothers me is that it sounds like something Shawn Mendes would release, and you know radio would be all over it if it was Shawn Mendes instead :drama: 34. Eh, this was lucky to make my chart at all...it's no 'Higher Love' and I'd rather stick with Tina's original ;) 37. Take comfort in knowing that it's very unlikely to climb higher than this :P Thanks, I hope to bring it back down to just one puke emoji next month :D Hi Riser! Thanks Sergej :D

What bothers me is that it sounds like something Shawn Mendes would release, and you know radio would be all over it if it was Shawn Mendes instead :drama: What's this, an alteration to an already published chart? :o is that even allowed by the Riser chart regulations?! Why didn't you just wait until next month? And yes the Shawn Mendes comparison never occurred to me before but it's totally valid!!
