Girls Aloud - The Show (2004) - 8.0 Country : United Kingdom Chart results : # 2 in UK, # 9 in Ireland eGUIE844hxk Finally I found a place for something mainstream in this countdown. Girls Aloud is my second favourite girl band, only YVA have more songs in top 100. "The Show" was the lead single from second Girls Aloud album “ What Will The Neighbours Say?”. This song continuing the band's string of hits by becoming the fifth consecutive top 3 single in UK. In my chart “The Show” was their second number one hit after “No Good Advice” in 2003 year. “The Show” clip is my second favourite Girls Aloud music video, only behind “Can’t Speak French”. The story takes place in a salon called "Curls Allowed." Each member of the band plays a character working in the salon, pampering and making-up a variety of men. Nicola Roberts is "Chelsea Tanner," who sprays insulting messages with fake bronzer onto her male customers; Nadine Coyle is "Frenchie", who ineptly tries to give her male customers facials; Sarah Harding is "Supa Styler", a hair stylist who fails to satisfy any of her customers; Cheryl Cole is "Maxi Wax", who makes the waxing process as painful as possible; and Kimberley Walsh is "The Boss", who looks on amusedly as her employees take their revenge on the salon's male customers.

Moje 3 - Ljubav Je Svuda (2013) - 8.5 Country : Serbia LW7TAdytfww My all-time top 100 Eurovision songs list was compiled in 2018 year, but I did a biggest mistake when missed this entry. Now it’s a good time to fix it. "Ljubav Je Svuda" is a song released by girls trio Moje 3, which consists of Mirna Radulovic, Nevena Bozovic and Sara Jovanovic. It is best known as Serbian entry on Eurovision Song Contest - 2013. The ladies also recorded English language version under the title “Love Is All Around”. YVA must do a copycat of this performance. Just imagine Kristina in angel's outfit with halo and wings and Goda in the role of sexy devil.

It all started in Marijampole, the seventh-largest city in Lithuania. Laima Lapkauskaite had the idea to gather a group of six girls and call her "Schoolgirls". The classic line-up are a lead singer Iruna Puzaraite, her sister Ineta, Simona Naine, Kristina Lepsyte, Ruta Zilionyte (my favourite member) and Ieva Vaitiekuniene. Mokinukes quickly found a way into the hearts of the listeners and became the member of “Big 4”. It’s an unofficial name, which I like to use for four most successful Lithuanian girl groups, others are Mango, YVA and 69 Danguje. “Meluok Meluok” (Lie, Lie) is available on their 4th studio album “Noriu But Laisva” (I Want To Be Free).

Stemming from the success of K3 in Netherlands and Belgium, in 2007 Studio 100 decided to make a similar band to it abroad. In the end, Germany was picked as the place of origin for this new band due to its size and the similarities between the German and Dutch languages. One Lithuanian man wrote it about my love to YVA some years ago on Eurovision forum, but this sweet name already was used on Lithuanian pop scene. The girls' pop group "Braskes” (Strawberries) was formed in June 2006 year by Irma Kopaniovaite from Vilnius and Loreta Konciute from Kaunas. Titled as "the sweetest discovery of the time", the hearts of fans of Lithuanian music quickly won. I like the original, but always will associate this song with YVA leader Natalija Bunke’s iconic performance in TV show “Dainuok Mano Daina” (Sing My Song). A lady in red outfit is Iruna (main vocalist of Mokinukes), so you can see her reaction on Natalija’s cover version. Edited April 10, 20232 yr by Last Dreamer
