All these random substandard Demi songs are going to do her more harm than good. No one will know what's a single. It reminds me of Camila Cabello last year but somehow WORSE.

This is only being released to urge people to vote in order to get Trump out though, it’s not like it’s a proper single. Agree that her last few releases haven’t been great, but it’s not as if they’re aiming for a hit with this.

You’d think with Scooter being her manager this would’ve been when she’d have gotten her biggest era and a well managed one too.

 

I agree that her last few releases have been a bit blah by her standards. I think that’s mainly because it hasn’t done anything to show off her strongest asset which is her vocals. This is better in that respect in that it does allow her voice to shine way more than her last releases have but it won’t be a hit due to the due to the subject matter.

 

What is the point in these songs? Is Scooter humouring her by releasing these ‘passion projects’ of hers all the while lining her up to hit the studio with max martin lol

The issue with Demi is the woe is me persona she's given herself. I'm sorry I'm not sober, least I still have me, its OK not to he OK its like we get it.

 

She's been through alot but every song she releases is worst than the last with the same message at the heart of it.

 

I get that people write about what they know but I feel like everything is so literal with her now, there's no subtlety to her work at all.

 

This new song is okay probably because its taken a different stance but it's still so so average

I don't mind the empowering messages but just if they're GOOD. The songs she's been putting out have been nothing more than 7/10's at best.

 

She needs another bop imo, Sorry Not Sorry or Cool For The Summer are some of her best known songs!

She’s completely lost herself as an artist tbh, I don’t think even she knows what she wants to release, probably songs like Stone Cold but she’s not going to get much charts hits from them, it’s funny that she’s not actually a fan of her biggest hits.
