If she goes to Graham for the second time this year alone and for the second time misses the opportunity to perform a new single just to influence people to vote in an election that's not even about the UK, I swear to God...
Piano version of Sine from Above would be nice, but I think she'll just talk.

That would be amazing! I don't think she's performing though or it would have mentioned it on the post :(

If she's really going to show up, I have something to say

Bieber appeared 2 times on SNL this year alone and performed a total of 4 new songs from his 2 new albums...

Meanwhile Gaga will appear again on Graham and will not perform anything, again...

I know she has almost 13 years in the game and she doesn't need to prove anything else to anyone, but has she ever stopped to think how many small artists and even emerging artists would kill for having an opportunity to spread their work or conquer some space in the spotlight, an opportunity that she has and wastes?

I mean, do ya thang girl :coffee:

Her not performing would give a "smaller" or "emerging" artist a chance to perform though. And it's not like she won't be promoting things, as Skob said, she has her makeup line and book. And no doubt she WILL promote the album too, just perhaps without a performance. She isn't just a singer, she is a full business woman now and has her fingers in so many pots.

We don't know how mentally draining it could be to perform live to millions and have it broadcast and then available on the Internet forever. I think it is unfair to always expect her to perform when we don't know the negative impact it could actually have on her well-being. :(

I get what you're saying totally and as a fan it's what I want, but I am sure there is more going on backstage that maybe us Internet fans are unaware of, if that makes sense.

Also live performances of songs aren't what they used to be in terms of promo impacts. You mention Bieber and what about Katy who had countless live performances on the Internet - what impact did they have? Who is in the better light in terms of the public? Gaga is because she has kept her exposure minimal and is thinking of the long game not just a climb in next week's chart.

Think about if the performance is ridiculed. There is no way to remove it from the Internet. That's a tremendous amount of pressure for an artist to be put under by fans that just want her to perform live at every given chance!

As I said, I get your point, just offering the counter argument.

No shade but I'm talking about relevant artists who still sell well.

Gaga isn't an amateur, she's a pro, she knows how to deal with the media & the GP, we are not in 2013.

Yea Gaga won't be ridiculed but I think she won't do anything more than a piano version of "something". That is, if she does sing in the first place.

We won't get a high choreographed rendition of 911, that's for sure.

That's not the point, the point is that many would give anything to have the opportunities and doors open that she has and wastes. She has always complained that she spent years having doors locked right in her face, and now that she has the chance to walk through those doors to promote her stuff she prefers to waste chances that many may not even have one day.

She isn't just a singer, she is a full business woman now and has her fingers in so many pots.

Yes, but she's only a businesswoman today because of her music, so I don't agree with her devoting more time to random things than giving priority to what put her on the scene and what keeps her in the spotlight until today, or do you want me to believe that you would love her the way you do today if she were a book writer instead of a singer?

If she says that the dancefloor is hers and that she fought for it, then she should give more value to it, just saying. :coffee:

That's the question :teresa:

Thank God, because 911 isn't a commercial song and that choreography is terrible. -_-

Alice & Babylon (aka best songs on the album) don't deserve to remain locked in the dungeon! (but at this point we are accepting anything). :teresa:

I don’t think she’d go on a UK talk show to talk about the US elections like we have absolutely no power over those and is the show even broadcast over in the states as well? If that’s her main aim at the moment she’d be better off doing the US talk show circuits for that.

I think we will get something like a single announcement once the president has been announced but that seems to be her thoughts at the time.
