Nelly Furtado has unveiled her plans to work with Kylie Minogue as part of the Australian singer's comeback.

Speaking to Hot Stars magazine, the Canadian 'Maneater' revealed: "We've been talking about it for a while. I can relate to her because she has this crazy work ethic like me, and I love the fact she went back and followed up her tour."

Minogue has recently resumed her Showgirl tour in Australia after it was interrupted by her being diagnosed with breast cancer last year.

i just posted this in the Nelly Forum too :D

I think it will work :o

It should be interesting :D

Cool. Def summit I would like to hear.
Oh yeah. Would be fab exposure for Kylie.
I am absaloutly ill at the concept of this. noway, I hope this never see's the light of day. I don't want a kylie/timbaland thing at all. EWW
I don't think it will be Timbaland, Kylie wouldn't go down that route again after Body Language in my opinion I think the idea sounds quite good.

It wouldnt be Timbaland stuff

It would be more, towards before Nelly became Commericalised :D

That's what I'm hoping for as well.

i really liked promiscuous

It grew on me and I liked it at the time it was released, but that is seriously not the direction I want Kylie going in. But if it isn't, I'll be happy about it.

Wat about something like maneater ?

I suppose that would be okay, although I want something less urban.

Something like 'Say It Right' would be awesome.

I mix of both would be good. Nothing to urban and nothing to mellow. Juat basic pop and dance lol

I'm hoping as it's on Kylie's album, she'll have control over what the sound of it's going to be.

The bottom line is that even Before Nelly went all urban, it was still an american sound. Kylie's music very european. very. Although she has the odd hit in america, american artists don't generally produce the sort of pop and dance that people like Kylie do - its bizzare, to the point where I have heard of Kylie & dannii being describe as "techno" by americans because they generally don't hear stuff like them on commerical radio.

The thing i always thought was funny. Was the fact that Kylie went all American with Body Language hoping it would do well and it flopped. Erm hello kylie. Your biggest USA hits were locomotion, CGYOMH, LAFT which were POP & Dance and biggest album Fever was yes you guessed it POP & Dance.
