Fever and Disco battling it out.

Disco is displaying signs that it will remain very popular in polls in many years ahead.

The fans have huge amounts of love for the collection.

I think so too and 7 weeks in the album has had time to settle and its sounding better than ever.

Disco has realky energised the fanbase.

These are all great albums, but im voting for Enjoy Yourself as i know i will probably be the only one to vote for it

 

The second vote for "Enjoy Yourself" was arrived from me.

As this thread is 5 months old and Disco was so new then has anyone changed their mind in relation to voting Disco? While i didn't vote for it myself i think the album is holding up very well in my ears at least, as im still enjoying alot of the songs with no sign of it waning just yet. Last Dreamer nice to see another enjoy yourself voter such a great Kylie album.

I voted for Fever - it's iconic, even the non-singles like Fragile and Love Affair had such a "diva" and iconic feel about them. Everything was perfect about the album, the videos, the promotion, the image.... everything!

Not my favourite K album, but I love Disco and it still sounds fresh. I don't know if it was the pandemic that this album wasn't recorded in the studio with all the bells and whistles, but the album is so organic full of good tunes. I still listen to Real Groove (solo, and the dua Lipa duet), and most other songs also hold up really well. I think, in a way, this was one of her more consistent albums after Fever.

It's very consistent and feel good and similar to golden kylie has shown real passion and belief in the material and is extremely proud of her work.

Disco is amongst Kylie's strongest work and it leaves me highly excited for the next Kylie musical chapter.

 

And if we are getting disco part 2 we dont have long to wait. X is the album that should have another number 1, the good will behind kylie was huge then but was wrong choices were made, if, the one was lead single I think x could have went number 1 for her. I would have loved light years to have been part of her number1s.

I added Kylie in pre-list, so will rate anything from her early albums soon.

Step Back In Time as it houses so many great songs.

SBIT is a great collection, it covers so much ground, I'm sure we will have various other greatest hits style releases further down the road. With artists like kylie it will always mean some songs have to be left off where other shorter term artists struggle to fill even 1cd.

The next Greatest Hits will have to be named the Essential collection as we have had, Greatest Hits, Best of, Ultimate and Definitive
