It has grown on me a bit, but it's still definitely the worst single choice of the era. The cover art is fab once again!

I feel like I am in minority but I love the song...it’s different and refreshing from her past 5 singles!!!

It's her worst single since Lost in Your Light for me. The verses are good but the chorus is so weak and generic. As others have pointed out, the key/chord progression sounds like a million other pop songs.

 

If It Ain't Me or even a global release of Fever would have been ideal. Looking forward to the music video though - maybe it will help me like the song more!

Interesting choice in director! Glad He's Gone was an amazing music video that got nominated for a Grammy :wub:
