December 22, 20204 yr Author Just watched it all as I couldn't sleep and omg it's perfect and like Jade said, really gives you that feel good factor we haven't got from tours this year 🥺 was really nice to see her talking and being herself as well, she's so f***ing cute. I love her sm, I cannot WAIT til we get another tour no matter how far away it is. I imagine it'll tie in Positions and another album like this one too.

Yeah same, she did an interview with Zach Sang a couple of months ago when 'positions' dropped that mentioned touring - she said that she couldn't imagine touring again until at least 2022, plus she touched on the two eras being represented together for this tour, here are the exact quotes to save time as the whole video is pretty long: "I mean I don't think people are gonna be touring until 2022. I don't see it as a possibility and I don't think I would feel safe. I don't want to put my fans in danger. I think we need to really look at this. No one knows what they're doing and the way that this pandemic is being handled, who knows? I don't see it on the cards.""Also, I just got off tour last year. I kind of liked doing Sweetener and Thank U, Next and then touring both together so maybe, whenever the next one happens, which will not be soon, and the pandemic sorts itself out. Maybe that would be a good time to start thinking about it but I think that, with the state of the world right now, it's not safe" I appreciate how sensible her attitude has been towards the pandemic. I'm glad you enjoyed it (you too Julian, of what you've seen so far anyway!) I feel so lucky that I was able to see her last year. I may have to return to the film a few times next year to fill the void of no tour for a couple of years potentially  bring that on eventually!
December 23, 20204 yr I loved the film so much. I was just smiling from start to finish. I can’t really afford to get any more merch with Christmas but I really want that T-shirt. The release date is on my birthday too which is really tempting me to buy it as a present for myself.
December 23, 20204 yr Loved it! Enjoyed seeing her performing 'You'll Never Know' as I used to listen to that in Gymnasium and pretend boys really wanted me that much ;) Overall a good time and I did enjoy her interaction with everyone she seems so sweet
December 24, 20204 yr Just finished this... can HARDLY call it a documentary. It's a tour video. She performs well but I feel she adlibs slightly too much. I'd say overall it was somewhat enjoyable but I won't go back to it. Gaga, Katy and Taylor have made films in a similar but much more successful format. Here I just felt like between takes Ari was more concerned which Snapchat filter to pick for her next selfie... though I get at the time she was going through a VERY rough time and it is sad because you can see that she isn't really keen to engage and comes across very coy. So yeh, mixed emotions on this.
December 24, 20204 yr Just finished this... can HARDLY call it a documentary. It's a tour video. Correct me if I'm wrong but this was never marketed as a documentary but as a tour movie. I'm really looking forward to a documentary though.
December 24, 20204 yr Correct me if I'm wrong but this was never marketed as a documentary but as a tour movie. I'm really looking forward to a documentary though. I guess you're right? it's just because in the description of this thread it says 'Netflix documentary' so that's what I was expecting. But I've been quite oblivious to marketing for the show, so I didn't realize. Anyway I wish they turned the backing track up a bit on the Choruses, I don't think she sang ONE full chorus, it was beginning to grate on me a little bit by the end. Still LOVE her to bits, just being honest.
December 24, 20204 yr Sorry if the description was misleading - these popstar projects on Netflix so far have been marketed as documentaries but this is indeed supposed to be a concert film, will update accordingly! This has led me back to the 'k bye for now' album - hope that and 'positions' eventually get vinyl releases.
December 24, 20204 yr No worries Jade! It's like you said, if Netflix is saying it's a documentary then what else are we supposed to think?
December 26, 20204 yr She performs well but I feel she adlibs slightly too much. I'd say overall it was somewhat enjoyable but I won't go back to it. I'm watching it right now and I feel the same way.
October 30, 20213 yr Finally having a second ever watch of this to wind down after a busy day <3 My first Netflix icon naturally had to be this of course:
