Keane reveal new single details

Soft rockers Keane have confirmed details of their next single, titled 'Bad Dream', which will be released in January.

 

The track is the fourth single to be lifted from their second LP 'Under The Iron Sea', and follows 'Is It Any Wonder', 'Crystal Ball' and 'Nothing In My Way'.

 

'Bad Dream' was apparently inspired by a poem written by Irish poet W B Yates, titled 'An Irish Airman Foresees His Death'.

 

Keane hit the road in early 2007 with a six-date UK tour.

 

The tour dates are as follows:

 

Bournemouth BIC - February 22

Birmingham NEC - 23

Nottingham Arena - 25

Cardiff CIA - 26

London Wembley Arena - 28 / March 1

 

Is "Bad Dream" a good choice as the 4th single?

I've got to be honest, I was sick of Keane around the time of Hopes And Fears because you couldn't get away from them, I just thought they were posh-boy pop

 

But I've obtained their new album and the tracks are genuinely decent on it, very good melodies

 

I like this song too, but it just sounds like they've done it all before :(

 

But hopefully some decent promo and we're there :D

Yay, "A Bad Dream" is great! I still would've liked "Atlantic" to get a release, but anyways, you can't have it all.

Yep, it's sold 600K and is the ninth best seller of the year ;)

 

Imo this a good choice as it's the best track on the album. :D

I really can't stand this group. They are so predictable and samey. Not heard this song yet and not sure I will bother. Can probably predict exactly what it will sound like. Whatever it sounds like, probably won't do well.

i love dthe 1st album but the 2nd one is ok not near as good,i did expect sal;es to be better for the 2nd album also
