I wanted to take psychology, english language, media and law for As, and then drop psychology or media to go on to A-Level... is that a good idea :unsure:?

4 is a LOT of work for A/S Level. But it's always good to have 1 to fall back on for university (like I did) but you will find it becomes a lot of work. But yeah it seems a good idea. :D You need at LEAST 3 A/S and 3 A2 to get into Uni by the way. Each Uni accepts people based on their grades so you gotta try. :D

Thanks for the info Kelly :D! I wouldn't know what one to drop though because in my career short list there's psycholgical work, work in media and law, and I couldn't drop english :unsure: :lol:

I wouldn't reccomend 4 AS Levels Kalen - I was advised against it - do three at most I'd say - there is a lot of work to do especially with the subjects you say you're thinking of picking but that's your choice :kink:

I did 4 AS levels - I coped just about but it wasn't fun.

 

But then I dropped down to 3 for A2 and that was so much better.

Hope it went ok today Graham. :) I remember doing a GNVQ advanced which was equal to 2 and a half A levels plus A Level History. :arrr:

Yeh it was good - both subjecst (Psych and Sociology) look really interesting but looks like there will be a lot of work to do including writing essays in 20 minutes for the exams apparently :rofl:

I'm not in til 1pm today then I have two days off :kink:
