Eden Alene's entry into Eurovision 2021 will be selected on 25th January and it will be among these three

Set Me Free

La La Love

Ue La La

Annoyingly the best song of the demos they had as potentials only came fourth in the pre-vote but of these three I'd go with La La Love out of these three as the best one even though some of those lyrics are very...on the nose in the current climate!

Hmmm, I think my favourite is La La Love followed by Ue La La. Set Me Free would need something really spectacular staging wise as it was rather boring.
Set Me Free was my fave of the three. An unfortunate situation where none of them are as good as last year's song which was in my top 3.

Yeah, none of them are as good as the best three from the selection last year sadly. :( But I think I'd rank like this

1. Set Me Free

2. La La Love

3. Ue La La

There's something about the main hook in Ue La La that I find quite repetitive and a bit annoying. Set Me Free does NOT need that key change, but I won't complain too much, I always love a key change even where it's unnecessary  But even though these songs are weaker, it's still far too early to write Israel off as Eden is a great performer and I think she can really bring it in the performance with whichever song they go with

“Set Me Free” wins the selection!

It’s about level with “Feker Libi” in my affections now and was my stand out in the selection so very pleased with this outcome.

It’s decent enough but Feker Libi was miles better. I’m still waiting to see which returning artists will improve on their 2020 offerings.
Weak. I have this feeling that I won't like very many of this year's songs

So far I don't think I like any of the songs from the returning artists more than their 2020 entries (not that there are that many to hear yet, mind).

I guess having a whole year to find just one killer song isn't as easy as it sounds, especially when it's always going to be compared to your previous effort and the artists are no doubt all too aware of that and feeling the pressure.

2021 is Eurovision's very own sophomore slump situation, at least it will be for many artists but I'm hoping some coming from a lower base will be able to improve on weaker entries from last year. And I'm also very much hoping that at least a few of last year's better entrants will see lightning strike twice.

Ah, I was never hugely enamoured wiith Feker Libi but at least that was trying to do something interesting.

That said this is fun at points and isn't actually doing anything particularly wrong. But probably not a highlight in the lineup.

I am here to break the circle of HATE and say this is very good! Pretty catchy and could be a Q if they have good staging.

Haven't listened to it yet but I think I can safely assume that if Pavel likes it I probably won't

It's ok. It would have been very difficult to match the standard of Feker Libi.

This revamp isn't doing it for me, I liked the song enough as it was and now I'm less on board  I loved the key change and now the ending is painful :(

Hmm I'm a bit unsure about this. I'm sure I'll get used to it but I didn't think the original was in need of a revamp at all. There are some parts of this that I like better but they also cut some parts that I loved, especially the key change. Anyone know why they deleted it from the ESC YT?
It sounds a lot less dated. But it's still not doing much for me.
