well all this time we've known James Arthur was a co-writer and they performed live together

so releasing them together was like the logical expectation

sure it's a label shenanigan if he's not on it but Tom Brennan is there instead

I suspect Ella’s team have wanted to release this for some time, but James/his label didn’t fancy it.

I actually prefer Tom here, James slurring style is beginning to grate on me tbh

Interesting what bounce they get from Graham Norton and then Sunday Brunch...

(It obviously suits an acoustic treatment more than her recent dance tracks).

I like Ella Henderson and think she deserves a lot more success than she has been getting. I also love Little Bit of Love by Tom Grennan... so I was up for this duet.

I think Ella sounds a bit like Anne-Marie in her bits, which I really doubt would be considered a compliment.

It's okay and all well and good... but it's nothing we haven't heard a few thousand times before so I don't think I'll be going back for more in a hurry.

Smashed that Graham Norton performance!

The song brings out both of their voices really well.

No. 1 iTunes, doing pretty well on AM and Spotify. Looking good !

Dream On Me was a million times better than this and deserved to be huge :(

The sample wasn’t strong, clear enough imho...

This is just a sweet little catchy song, that has some nice vocal qualities - often they do the business’

Graham Norton performance and interview.

Well over 50% lead as iTunes #1, so it’s going to sit there for a few days.

As of yesterday #48 AM and #194 Spotify, hopefully that should improve a lot the next few days.

Any thoughts where this might chart next week? Top 100? Top 40 no chance??

Got to admit, I really do like this. Glad it looks like it's doing well so far. Always baffles me when some songs just take off and others float like a stone.

And #2 today on Big Top 40...

Spotify is usually Ella's downfall. And again it isn’t looking great atm.

I do think this song will push through though it seems to have a lot of momentum.

Right song at the right time and 2 really good vocalists.

When I watched the Graham Norton performance I certainly got Fairytale of New York vibes,

which Graham Norton also picked up

i wonder how this will place her as it's looking to be her biggest solo hit since... like... 'yours' but she's signed to a dance label.

i'd love her to have some a really dance-pop solo song. 'dream on me' didn't quite grab me.
