This has probs been in my top 5 of Taylor's best songs lyrically ever since the Little Big Town version dropped so I am so glad we now get a version with Taylor's vocals as well :cry: It's a crime it never made the original Red but yasss at us having it now <3

Original! It was the 4th song she recorded with Max Martin & co. for the album but it was left off as the label didn’t want too many poppy songs on it (unless you mean in terms of if the original unreleased version was re-recorded, then it’s the latter as Max produced the original one but this one is produced by his team)

 

also have i missed why she changed 'girl at home'???

I don’t know if this is true but I read on Twitter that this was the original vibe she wanted for the song but the label refused. Also probs helps that nearly everyone has the original in their bottom 3 of the album (not me tho :cry: but I do love the new production!)

If Taylor can get 570,000 then that would be the second biggest debut of the year I think - with a re-recording - Wowzers

I thought I’d have a go at ordering these songs in preference - not that easy with an album over two hours long (I got a bit confused part way through lol). Looking at my scoring, I’m enjoying and appreciating this album more than I did the first time round. So many 10s !

30,000 and they only had enough US stock to last an hour or less. :rolleyes:

Interesting that the record for studio albums is only 11, she could potentially get that record by the end of the re-recordings era

If not, certainly in the next few years I’d imagine! Robbie is set to release another solo album next year, so that’ll probably be a 12th one for him - but he doesn’t release that frequently.
