As I've actually got up to date on my full chart history I thought I'd post my chart as a thread for a change!

 

 

After having the biggest climb in each of the previous two weeks Mogwai reach the summit with Ritchie Sacramento, becoming their biggest charting hit (of only 3!). They're joined in the top three by current post-album singles by The Weeknd and Jessie Ware, in what is about as mainstream as a top 3 for me gets, as W. H. Lung and The Drums both fall out of the top three having taken up #1 and #2 for the past three weeks. Lou Hayter climbs into the top 5 with her version of Steely Dan's 1981 single Time Out Of Mind, an absolute bop that will no doubt climb higher in the coming weeks. Julien Baker and Giggs & Jorja Smith make this weeks biggest climbs, both up 10 places, with five new entries coming from Poppy Ajudha, Amy Macdonald, Nubiyan Twist, Wolf Alice and Elaine Mai with her BJSC entry. Other BJ contest representation is in the bubbling under chart with Miss Grit, Cassandra Jenkins and Beyond Therapy, but in prime position for an enntry into next weeks chart is AA Williams with her beautiful rendition of the Pixies classic Where Is My Mind?

Cheers for sending W. H. Lung to the latest BJSC - always love to make discoveries from the contest and I really loved that! Well, I was always going to really - it's got some shades of The Postal Service within it. One of my favourite discoveries from the contest for sure.

I know and love pretty much your entire Top 5, although I've not yet heard the new Lou Hayter single.

Love seeing Elaine Mai make your chart - glad you are liking it as much as I did! Also enjoying the new Nubiyan Twist single and the new reworked Moses Boyd/Katy B collaboration.

 

Oh and I'm also really loving the FKA Twigs single, very much a grower that one for me. Will def check out the ones I don't currently know yet.
