March 16, 20215 yr They made a lot better songs though looking back, ‘Whole Again’ being by far their best song. Strange it was only c-listed considering it was a 4 week chart topper! I think the success of that song literally took everybody by surprise!
March 16, 20215 yr Exactly, they had already released 3/4 singles that did well but nowhere near the top and suddenly they went to #1 with Whole Again
March 16, 20215 yr I don't know Scott's as I don't listen to his show, and I can't tell from the tracklist on the BBC Sounds app. Scott's is Ella Henderson & Tom Grennan - Let's Go Home Together
March 16, 20215 yr Scott's is Ella Henderson & Tom Grennan - Let's Go Home Together Thank you! Should have known it would be that one (Scott is the most predictable DJ in regards to picking his tune of the week).
March 16, 20215 yr Maybe a sign they will remove Toms current song and add that soon! I don’t see why they couldn’t have them both on the playlist - yesterday Scott played both Little Bit Of Love and Let’s Go Home Together in the same show which means that they’re not opposed to it! In case anyone was wondering Arielle’s Tune of the Week is the Fred again, Blessed Madonna track - We’ve lost dancing I think it’s called.
March 16, 20215 yr I agree Dan but i felt because they ignored it at first they must have an issue playing both. They could always play it as an Ella single though lol
March 16, 20215 yr Author 'Let's Go Home Together' is showing signs of being a big hit, I can't see R1 ignoring it.
March 16, 20215 yr Let's Go Home Together is Ella's single primarily so there's no reason both can't be played, I'm sure it's only a matter of time until it's on the playlist (and I'd be surprised to see them dropping Little Bit of Love so soon).
March 16, 20215 yr I feel like the reason might actually them being reluctant to playlist Ella more than anything, they didn't support her last single either (sadly :( )
