December 5, 200618 yr Author No.7-Beatles-Revolution wVHuFuyFoUI Isnt It strange with beatles Videos how you can never quite tell if it was live?? John lennon really shouldnt have grown that beard in a few months time, it made him look at least 40 when he was really only 29. One of the best beatles songs, and even better is the much softer version on the white album - "Revolution No.2" (I think its called that, and no, i dont men the stupid nine minuite vesion called Revolution No.9) I liked ringos hair. Did you know that ringo starr has never NOT HAD a beard or Moustaches since 1967????
December 5, 200618 yr Author Adam Ant, John Lennon, T-Rex, Queen.....? Surely some of this is 'retro' mate.... I'm not sure of its relevance to an Indie Rock kinda thing..... I'm sure Cassidy will probably question you on this as well.... I'm not saying it's not an enjoyable little journey you're on here (even if I dont really like very much of it..), but I think relevance is a key word here... It seems kinda...random as well.... i never said it was going to be entirely rock and indie. im glad your enjoying it but have you actually watched evry video like i watched evry video of yours????
December 5, 200618 yr Author No.6-Paul Mccartney and Wings-Magneto And Titanium Man JTlibVHCFDo Now the fun really starts! No-One. I repeat, NO ONE will be able to watch this without tapping an foot, or, Two. This videos from their massive Wings over America Tour, in 1976. The songs actually from Venus and Mars in 1974 and was a B-sidde to The single Venus AndMars/Rockshow witch went to No.44. Hes My least favourite beatle, i always prefered Ringo. Although paul did have loads of good songs, sadly, im not gonna put more than one of one artist.

December 5, 200618 yr Author No.5-Hot Hot Heat-Bandages gN_HsTueI2g When this track was origanly released in 2003, the BBC banned it because of the war in Iracq!!! Their second album (Elevator) was much better than the first (Make Up The Breakdown) although the first album peformed better on the charts, with this single reaching No.26, their highest charting to date. The band are currently working on their 3rd album which they state will be out in december (I really doubt it, they havent even finished recording it)
December 5, 200618 yr No.8-Hard-Fi-Living For The Weekend SV-RRd_nxJg (I settled on this semi live performance ( Well, I think its semi live, it might be fully live) Released back in September '05, although in my eyes would have suited august much better as its a very summery song and was always played as the opening titles song to all the big festivals. More "Ive Got no money, No home, no friends" lyrics. The storylines for Hard-Fis songs are usually the girlfriends pregnent and hes lost hes job, but he wants to go and party. The song was recorded in a Ex-Taxi Office Now this is a brilliant track, love it.
December 5, 200618 yr Author No.4-Blur-Sunday Sunday yLxLkaZKYWQ My favourite blur single, released back in 1993 and reached no.26. The opening image in the video is the single cover. The bands profilehad took a turn for the worst by the time they released this album (Modern Life Is Rubbish). What little popularity they had won over in 1992 had now dissapeared and they could only chart at No.26 (About 3 singles in a row reached this!!) But in my eyes, its they second best abum, it was so brit pop. At least they beat oasis to the No.1 slot once!!
December 5, 200618 yr Author No.3-Electric Light Orchestra-Mr. BlueSky 4T-bZoN1QfY The first time i ever heard this was on Episode 10 of the sedcond new series of Doctor who, the episode with peter kay. The story was about a group of people who had all had encounters with the doctor, and all met once a week to try and find out more about him.....so on and so on....And evry so often this song would start playing. The next monday i couldnt get it out of my head. I had to get this song. Its ridiculasly catchy, and is one of THE best songs EVER!! It was on my MP3 for about 2 months, i could never get tired of this song.
December 5, 200618 yr wings are the band the beatles could have been Wings are a HORRID band mate.... :puke2: Have you actually heard Linda sing backing vocals.....Jeeeeeezuz....... :puke2:
December 5, 200618 yr Author No.2-Lulu-The Man With The Golden Gun iYYaFibEus0 The video bores me so i setled on the opening of the film. This isnt strictly rock-But It does rock (Get It???) Arguably the best bond song ever. She had a very good voice, although not as good as Shirly Bassey, now she could sing. (Proof is in the new Marks and Speencers Advert. One of the worst (But In my eyes best) Bond films. It had little/or no plot. I really dont see how they went through with making the film, all it is is roger moore trying to find scaramanga and in the bog climax theres an explosion. Also, its another ending at sea (If you actually look in to it, evry bond film bar goldfinger and die another day end at sea)
December 5, 200618 yr Author Wings are a HORRID band mate.... :puke2: Have you actually heard Linda sing backing vocals.....Jeeeeeezuz....... :puke2: Yeah, shes good isnt she!!! A right little Bamba Gasgoine (As Den Perry from Pheonix Nights Would Say)
December 5, 200618 yr Author No.1 is..................... .......... .... George Harrison-CrackerBox Palace qB5ekVklcSc PLEASE WATCH THIS VIDEO!!! What can i say apart from "Wasnt George looking healthy"??? John lennon is also in the video as the woman at the beggining. It was from 1976....etc.... I hope you all enjoyed my little countdown, i hope you all took the time to read, and watch my favourite songs.
December 6, 200618 yr wings are the band the beatles could have been thats utter bollox dude... you couldnt be more wrong.. but its a good run down with alot of variety, and yes scott, it should be here, where else could he post it? after all...if many of those acts considered retro were around now theyd be called 'indie'..lol.
December 6, 200618 yr Author Hmm, yeah, strange that.... i wouldnt of been able to decide what song of theres to put at no.1, so i just put one of them at no.20 for easyness.
