It's not that that far-fetched to think that she might release something ARTPOP related in 2023 though. She has been reacting to ARTPOP related TikToks quite a lot recently.

 

I am thinking of a "deluxe edition" or a high profile vinyl release, but not "Act II" with 20 tracks :P

I totally lost my interest in this album after she blocked/deleted DWUW, the era, which was already a mess, became even more messy and empty...

I don't really know what to take from the DJWS comments. It suggests we aren't getting the full Act II but maybe a reissue of the original album? :thinking:

They could release Brooklyn Noghtd and Gypsy as singles snd fo a reissue?? Maybe get 2 top 20s? She is no longer a no.1/ top 10 artist, like she was with Gypsy in 2013, but can still get small hits from them!

BM definitely would and still can go Top 10 in the UK if her label had done or did the basics: add the song to the big UK playlists and send it to UK radio, as to date none of that has been done.

This comment doesn't make sense? She was barely a chart force in 2013 and it looked like she was on the way out, but last time round she got two top 5s (including a number one) and there's nothing to suggest she's dwindled since then?

Had she released Gypsy and Brooklyn Nights, she would have had 2 number 1s, maybe a number 2 vs Katy. Then she would have got a third no.1 wirh DWUW with someone different as rhe duet partner.

 

Now, however, she is no longer a chart force!! Stupid Love barely scraped top 10 for a week, Alice and 911 barely reached top 100, and Rain On Me scrapes no.1 thanks to Ariana G, a candidate foe new Madonna!!

She was going through a down patch in 2013, it’s only normal. It’s almost impossible to stay at the heights she was in 2008-11. Gypsy wouldn’t have changed that. The face she rebounded with A Star Is Born and Chromatica show she is still more than capable of getting hits.

This! A down patch mentally too - every artist that has been around for decades has had moments that didn't set the world alight! It's normal. If she gave up after ARTPOP she'd have been a fad~ but alas she persevered and became the icon she is today :clap:
