It is obviously in his interests more than Gaga's. He hasn't produced a new hit in years, Gaga wouldn't barely notice the impact of ACT 2 release on her bank account.

Oh this is a bit meh for me. He was passionate about the project like many fans were so it seems to have soured now with fans going for him. This era just continues to be problematic.

I see what you mean but I also think he doesn't have the "right" to constantly tease a project that's yet to materialize. Professional producers don't do that.

He isn't being super professional but at the same time he's just as excited as we are so I think let him express that. If Gaga's team aren't doing anything for it they can address it personally with him and tell him to stop - I don't think LMs should be policing things and being vile online to him.

Yeah, don't know if it was because LMs "attacked" him or Gaga's team saying that hold your horses

I really hope it is her team suggesting it because they want to be the ones to build the hype and nothing something else that's more sinister :(

Maybe it’s one of those things what’s incredible in our minds but in reality it might not be worth it.

 

ARTPOP represents a time in Gagas personal life where was at an all time low and the publics perception of her was also at a low point one of those occasions where both in her personal and working life the world was just against her, would she really want to put herself back in that place and relive that era again? Even if the songs aren’t part of the original album they would still focus on a time in her life what she may not wish to relive and I doubt anything new she’s recording would be associated with ARTPOP either.

 

If she ever did want to do an act II herself and it was her idea and she was on board and making the choices I’d be happy but yeah I’m not too sure. I’d rather a completely new project and have us fans just stream the OG album but I don’t think we will get an act II and it be a promoted album release with visuals or performances (I fear that could be detrimental).

 

The most I think we should expect is some sort of reimagining of the album where it’s remixes ala Dawn of Chromatica or Born This Ways anniversary where LGBT icons / artists are covering tracks from the original album.

This 100%. if she released it, it should be just a casual drop to acknowledge the anniversary or sth, not an extensive era. It shouldn't be a focus for her in any means.

I'll be so glad when we get confirmation that this ISN'T happening, just as much as I'd be happy if it does happen. Every week, a new rumour :')

I'd be delighted if it actually got released, but we know 99% sure that it won't.
