Playlisting or not (mostly not), I think the Spotify performance is a bit worrying. It dropped below Poker Face already yesterday - that just can't be solely about playlisting. People need to be reminded that they can actually stream the song too.

People stream songs through playlists, that's how it works in the streaming era, the song's performance on streaming platforms is being equivalent to the investment it's been receiving, don't expect more than that until her team wakes up and puts the song on the biggest playlists.

I am hoping (naively) that they are waiting for the film's release before pushing it fully

I think it might go top 40 in the UK - if not this Friday next week most likely.
