You only need 150 points to debut in the current Top 10 of the Hot 100 and 200 to enter the Top 3. At the time Shallow was released, you needed 200 points to enter the Top 10 and 280 points to enter the Top 3. If her team isn't so useless this time around, she could easily have another Top 10 hit, at least before the movie comes out.

 

But if mistakes happen like: song doesn't come out on Friday, no initial push on the radio, video doesn't come out along with the song, forget that Top 10.

Also just realised for work, I'm taking the kids to a concert that they're performing in and it's a WHOLE DAY event ending at like 10pm.. and it's NEXT TUESDAY So I'll be largely absent on release day :drama: Going to need to sneak away whenever I can to see updates but it's going to be near impossible to listen to it on repeat like I would've liked to have done on a release day!

I'm not happy with that release day but they say the song comes out on Tuesday because that's when the pre-sale of tickets for the movie starts.

 

I also hope it's because they usually send her lead singles to pop radio 3 days later and that would coincide with the next Friday so the song doesn't miss the first three days of airplay and they're ready to put the song on the biggest playlists next Friday.
