OK, I went to the concert yesterday and it was absolutely stunning... :o

 

The first and second part are pretty much the same except the new song white diamond. When Kylie was having a rest after singing "in your eyes", she had a little chat with the audience and she saw a person with the wig that Kylie wore in can't get you out of my head part. Kylie said,"Glitter wig!!" :lol: The second part is a bit different since what do I have to do was shortened. However, other than that, it's pretty much the same.

 

The Samsara part... what can I say?? It's simply astonishingly fantastic. The costume is one of my favourite and it's perfect for Kylie's skin colour. The choreography is the best in the entire show. It truly shows the true meaning of the song for Confide in me (in which Kylie was like a "puppet") and Too far (in which she was dancing within the circle formed by the dancers and trying to sort her way out). The Indian style perfectly fits into the whole style of the section. With Manchester Boy naking himself to his underware during Butterfly so I was pretty satisfied. :lol:

 

For the "what Kylie wants, Kylie gets" section, it hasn't been changed much but the shower scene is just adorable. But what I want to say is, after the concert, I totally adore the leopard dress!! HAHA, I knew it's a bit fickle but she looks cute while she still managed to look herself like a lady!! ^_^

 

For over the rainbow, thanks god that I didn't fall asleep. Chocolate was also shortened but dance for the bridge (just one heart here to save me now, that part) is much more intense than the original tour. Kylie also pitched perfectly with I believe in you and Dreams. What's remarkable about Dreams is that this time, the song is performed in acoustic version but it turns into the original version so it's a bit like on a night like this.

 

For Burning Up/Vogue, it isn't my type really and I couldn't hear Kylie rap to the vogue since the noise was just too loud.

 

However, when Kylie was performing I should be so lucky, the locomotion and hand on your heart, the crowd was singing along, how spectacular!! :D

 

On the filp side, I don't really like the hair, the dress is fine but the hair doesn't match with the section...

 

So after that, it was can't get you out of my head, and again, it's simply spectacular and the crowd is just singing "la la la, la la la la la la la la..."

 

For Light Year/Turn it into love, the first one is good but I think turn it into love doesn't really fit into light year style or is it just me???

 

After especially for you, Kylie again had a little chat with the audience and she asked the audience what song she should sing now. Someone shut out "can't get you out of my head!!" but then Kylie said we did that one. :lol: Someone said "got to be certain" and Kylie said "ahh!!!" but of course she didn't sing it.

 

Kylie then invited two little girls who gave her flowers when we were singing especially for you with Kylie. Poor little girls!! They were a bit shy. Kylie then asked what their favourites are, they said "can't get you out of my head". Then Kylie said,"ok, we're gonna sing the chorus", then they started singing "I just can't get you out of my head...". When little girls were on the stage a little bit longer, they started shaking their dress, how cute!! :dance:

 

After the Love at first sight (by the way, Kylie didn't sing the chorus so I reckon she's a little bit tired), she turned her back against the audience and sang "won't you lift me up, up, high upon your love oh baby, come... (waiting for audience to reply)"... hehe... :P

 

So that's it for the concert. Oh yes, one more thing, the choreography, in my opinion, isn't any less intense at any measures. The choreography in Samsara is a lot more intense even comparing with the original Showgirl tour. :)

Sounds like you had an amazing time. Just hearing about it is getting me soooooooo excited for the shows in Jan. Thatnks a lot for your review.

Yep, the concert is truly amazing, but at certain occasions, she ran out of breathe and not singing to the lyrics. I guess it's really the effect of chemotherapy that affects her. Hopefully she will take a half year break before she released her new album. :(

I know they said wait til about a week before but im scared that they may not come

ya a week b4 is very risky incase they dont arrive and for me it woul dbe worse as it takes post a week to get here from uk most of the time
